Lol Dame, my username is deceiving since I'm actually a Westerner and live in the US- As young children though, my siblings and I lived on a small farm, therefore my exposure to Goats!
Guess what you should be having for breakfast today? GRITS! It's Have Grits for Breakfast Day.
Here are today’s five thing to know about Grits:
Grits (also sometimes called sofkee or sofkey from the Muskogee word) are a food of Native American origin common in the Southern United States and mainly eaten at breakfast.
They consist of coarsely ground corn, or sometimes alkali-treated corn (hominy).
Grits are similar to other thick maize-based porridges from around the world, such as polenta, or the thinner farina.
Grits are usually prepared by adding one part grits to two-to-three parts boiling water, sometimes seasoned with salt or sugar.
They are usually cooked for 5–10 minutes for “quick” grits or 20 or more minutes for whole kernel grits, or until the water is absorbed and the grits become a porridge-like consistency.
I love me some lemon polenta pound cake!!
Have a great day, all.

7:27 AM on a gorgeous Friday morning! I'm heading out to breakfast soon with my son, DIL, and 2 of my 4 grandson sons (the 2 older ones started school yesterday).
I have a lot to be thankful for in my life, that's for sure!
Staying sober another 24 by the Grace of God!
Have a peaceful and blessed weekend my friends. I couldn't do this without you.

Thought for the Day
"Outline the program of action to new prospects, explaining how you made a self appraisal, how you straightened out your past, and why you are now endeavoring to help them. It is important for them to realize that your attempt to pass this on to them plays a vital part in your own recovery. The more hopeless they feel, the better. They will be more likely to follow your suggestions. Tell them about the fellowship of A.A. and if they show interest, lend them a copy of the Big Book." Can I tell the A.A. story to another alcoholic?
Meditation for the Day
You should try to stand aside and let God work through you. You should try not to block Him off by your own efforts, or prevent His spirit working through you. God desires your obedient service and your loyalty to the ideals of the new life you are seeking. If you are loyal to God, He will give you protection against mistakes. His spirit will plan for you and secure for you a sufficiency of all spiritual help. You will have true victory and real success, if you will put yourself in the background and let God work through you.
Prayer for the Day
I pray that I may not interfere with the working of God's spirit in me and through me. I pray that I may give it full rein.
