Just thought I'd say to any overs about citronella candles which are a natural insect repellant so if your windows are open & you want to have a have a light on.. place a small citronella teacandle in a safe place in said room to keep the bugs at bay; it is a really humane approach at pest control (moths, fly's mozzies etc)

We originally got them for the garden plants and for when we have the back door open in summer

They really work a treat

Now watching last Thursday's Mr Robot episode 4 - this show is easily my favourite

Not much happening here. Watered the garden, a few tomatoes are appearing finally. Been warm and not much rain. Other than that, not much else to talk about. Hope all have a good rest of the weekend and the week ahead!

Morning overs.

Thanks for the tip, Wolfie!

Hi Drake, you'll soon have a glut of tomatoes!

I'm going to buy the new Harry Potter book out. They have made a play in the west end which was a hit, of course.

Had a trigger yesterday. Just driving along and was a bit fed up and all these thoughts came in my head. I let them, knowing full well I wouldn't carry it through, I don't want that life again.

Have a good Sunday !

Mags

It's quieter at the OFH during the summer. Few people here head south for the winter but many go to their summer "camps" in the area. Fewer planned activities but that's relaxing, too. The next few days should be a bit cooler which is most welcome :-)

Have a super Sunday, Overs!

Hey everyone. It's a long weekend here, BC Day is tomorrow. Long weekends right after a breakup are kind of depressing.
There's a family barbecue later, so I get to explain to everyone that yet another one of my relationships failed.
I'm beginning to feel like Bridget Jones......except the less adorable version.
Sigh woe is me. To be honest this isn't the worst breakup I've had, by far. Mostly disappointing. Sad to be alone again. Etc.
But the big lesson here obviously is that I need to learn to be more happy on my own.....not sure why it's so important for me to learn that particular lesson but apparently it is.
I got another job on a show right after this one ends. Its called The Arrangement, its an E! network show, looks pretty bad in my opinion but it looks like it's based on Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, which is interesting.
I start that show as soon as this one wraps, without a break, and it goes until mid-October. So, no summer for me this year. Oh well, I'm going to have a nice little amount saved up by then, and can take a bit of a break maybe. There is just so much work right now in the film industry here, it's nuts.
Well, I'm trying very hard to dust myself off and move forward. I miss him though.
Anyhoo I'll be fine and better for it I know, just need to get over this hump of sadness.
Enjoy the Sunday, Overs. (I know it's always too late when I say that, most of you are already at the end of the day I know. But I say it anyway.)

Hi overs

Inpar.. I agree with Wolfie, you don't have to explain at your family bbq if you don't wish to. i agree with 'happy on your own' or happy in your own skin. No one will give us that. Maybe for a while but not permanently.
Your new job sounds great! Such an exciting career for you.x

Zippy, sounds like a good night was had by all last night! I love carousels, I bet the photo was fantastic for the class photo!
