Dear Kris...this must be my conscious contact improving again coz believe it or not the word that kept resonating with me yest was Grace! Looked up the def for it even tho knew what it was, on my phone & googled meaning of the name(which happens to be my dearly departed mother RIP). What was surprising was both our names have same meaning ie God has shown me favor-mine & other is God's favor-her's! Cool huh? I'm sorry your still hurting SL;prayers for you. 24 of contentment pls

Hi,
We did get some rain tonight, loved it! Downside, no garage sale tomorrow.
I'm checking in for the next 24, and yes I do have to thank my HP, AA, and you all on SR. On my own....well, that would be an active Alcoholic. My entire life & soul is much better this way...in recovery/recovered.

I don't know which wise person said that they only need three things for a happy life: good digestion, good sleep and a good laugh, but they were absolutely right. Take any one of those things away and it can flat out spoil a day.

Luckily I had all three in exactly the right ratios during the last 24 hours so I feel very very grateful.

Thank you to everybody who makes this thread the safe and welcoming place it is and huge congratulations to anyone celebrating a milestone today.

I am committing to another day of creating a new life in sobriety and strengthening good and healthy habits. I hope you'll join me?
