Good morning Wolfie and Venuscat. I'm staying up way too late again, as usual. Tried to go to sleep earlier but just wasn't ready after a very long (but good) day at work so I'm watching some television now. Hope you both have a wonderful day.

Thanks for the kind words venuscat and soberwolf. It feels great to be back on the right path. I'm on day 30 today (not a month yet because of March having 31 days)! I was telling my March 2016 class that more and more I'm coming to view this current sobriety as an extension of the good sobriety I had last year for 4+ months. I didn't lose what I learned last year, I just temporarily got away from it.

I have decided to go to an AA meeting in a couple of hours. It'll be my first one I've attended since sobering up on March 13, 2016. I'm not really planning on making AA a full part of my recovery plan, but I already use many bits and pieces from there that I've learned over the years. And I think it's important for me to get some face-to-face recovery time in as well, plus I want to get in the habit of going to a meeting or two a week so that when/if those thoughts of drinking come, I'll maybe be more inclined to go get some help immediately instead of staying silent and eventually drinking like I have in the past.

Meeting was good. I had four cups of coffee this evening, so I'm pretty wide awake. Just finished watching tonight's Better Call Saul. Going to read for a while, see if that makes me sleepy.

No decaf at the meeting? I cannot drink coffee after lunchtime, or I would be up all night. Glad to hear that the meeting was good Casey. 
And LOL, it's pretty hard to beat wolfie, and it's already after 6 there, so well done!!!

I had three of the cups at home before the meeting, the last one there. Someone was making decaf when I walked in the kitchen, but I'm impatient sometimes. I want what I want when I want it. I am a fairly recent convert to coffee drinking--maybe the last last six months or so. My intake has definitely been on the upswing during this month of sobriety.
No big deal if I stay up a while. I don't work until tomorrow evening and no plans for the daytime so I can sleep in a little.
