. Lotsa ups n downs but so worth it, wouldn't trade it back for anything!
Just landed in Toronto just me n my 2 kids, they behaved flawlessly! I was worked up that it would be a nightmare of me trying to discipline them but so far so good
I would never be taking my kids with me on a trip like this while active in my drinking. Here for 3 weeks, I'll probably be attending way fewer meetings while here so I will have to rely on SR and my sponsor more than usual but I enjoy this place and my sponsors guidance so I'm not complaining!

Started the school year off today. Great start. Probably the best opening day in the 7 years I've been at the school.
This is also my first full sober year. I did half the year sober last year, but this year will be the first full one.
Hope all is well. We're smoky and hazy here from the Clear Lake fire 100 miles north.
Continuing to be thankful for SR. It really saved my life and has become such an important part of a new life. A real life fully lived.

Hey friends. Long time....
Been back and forth a few times trying to get the message through the thick skull.. Got 18 days back on the good side and planning on keeping it that way.

Brynn- I am doing great! We have been busy. We were out west and now we are home. How have you been? I think I read you started school. Congratulations!

Got kinda beat up from a bug going around or something. Not feeling well ugh.
Celebrating 8 years of marriage today. Spent time looking at old photos. Still hard after losing our cat two months ago. But things are pretty good. Lady drinking her morning wine and I'm trying to retain some energy for finishing up the work week strong. Three big days ahead.

Mld....my guys mom bailed him out. His boss has given him a choice....go to rehab or be fired. He works for a small company, makes great money, and his boss has a heart of gold and has been so patient with him but he's on the verge of losing it all but he thinks he can make it work somehow. He's strung out. He's not thinking clearly...I mean he seriously makes no sense and it's scaring me. Something's changed in his head. I'm trying to get him to the dr but he won't go. I could write a novel about the past few days.....needless to say I'm at the end of my rope and almost to the breaking point. Trying to stay focused.
