I'm doing really good! I'm back to about 90% mobility and other than some fatigue, I'm feeling great! I quit my job, too, so I could focus on school. as soon as I quit I felt so much stress just disappear!
This time last year I never dreamed I'd be sober and enjoying life so much!

Awfully quiet here - Hope to hear from some of you that have been away for awhile.
I am having a good day....I could very easily get used to not working if I didn't have to I had a productive morning working inside & outside the house, started to feel "panicked" about the financial situation of not having a job, but reminded myself that as long as I keep taking action with my search, something will work out....I then checked my email & had a response from the HR department of the job I am most interested in that I applied for! Have a phone interview scheduled for early next week & feeling happy about that.
On my own tonight as usual & have plans to take a power walk, swim laps & soak in the Jacuzzi at the gym. Feels really good to be doing things to take care of myself instead of "zoning out" with the smoke & drink.

Hi guys,
Still alive... Barely, though its not the alcohol. Thats getting me...
So much work, day and night, my ankle is getting better but I'm so slow which doesn't help with work, I got a cyst which became infected and I had to get minor surgery at urgent care last night, now must go to work ..
I'm doing well other than that, haven't been drinking too much, but I'm on antibiotics now so its a good time to be completely sober for a while.
This has been the summer from hell! Haha

I am having a good sober week-end.....going to pick Grandson up in a bit to go play some air hockey & have ice cream. (this is how I want to spend my Sundays)!!

It only dawned on me now what exactly these "Class of" threads are all about. I can't believe I have been missing out on these!!! My sobriety date is Dec. 4/14, so this is the right thread, right?

One week for me today......I know I have had many of these, but I do feel committed & know this is the life for me.....free of alcohol & other stimulates that keep me from being "Me".

Thank You Brynn Phone Interview is in the morning...I've spent some time on the Company website today & putting down on paper my answer to questions that I was told they would be asking. Went to the local job council here today & have an appointment tomorrow with a job specialist & plan on taking advantage of the resources there.
