24 Hour Recovery Connections Part 59
Jumping in here. I have to read back and catch up on the news of the last two days when time permits.
The meds are kicking in; feeling better and I now have the energy to do things around the house and garden; so much back-work to attend to.
9:20 a.m. on the East coast; in for another 24 of the good life.
Be well, be loved, be happy, my dear ones.
Go soberly.

Go soberly.
You are standing on holy ground.
I often ask myself, "Where are your feet?" I do it when I start thinking/fretting about the past, the future, or if I start trying to figure out what some other person was thinking or why they did something. It reminds me to take a minute, look around, and be grateful for right now. It is down to me, in this moment.
And that is enough.
7:18 AM. 24 more, by grace.

Asking for 24 more by the Grace of God.

I had some messy-list-problems yesterday, so please excuse any omissions!
Searching for patron saints, I looked for the patron saint of trees, but couldn’t find one. Saint Joseph is the patron saint of woodworkers, though, and so the patron of the shipbuilders for Aeneas who chopped down Cybele’s sacred grove, and the Renaissance artists when they carved out of wood. And the furniture maker and builder.
Christ in the Carpenter’s Shop, detail, George de la Tour, 1645, in the Louvre, Paris.
If this is what they meant by humanism, I'm for it. See you all here tomorrow!
And remember to check in later for the Monday-to-Sunday list, where I try to correct all my mistakes!

Good morning sober family. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It's truly a blessing to enjoy the weekend without the need for drugs or alcohol (which is a drug) to have fun. That is truly a gift from above!!!
Love ya lots! Prayers for the struggling!!!
