I have a 5k sponsored charity run tomorrow and then am cooking dinner as we have the kids coming round for Father's Day. It is also our wedding anniversary so lots happening!

Hi Amp, enjoy your weekend and well done on the fast forward, I used to have to do that a lot in early recovery, and still do now when I get tempted. Strangely, no matter how often I forward that particular movie, the ending is always the same, and not a pretty, happy ever after either!
Casey, by the end of the shift that smell will be vile and a good reminder of how even the best drinking eventually turns sour.
Petals how are things with you love? Did you check out the F&F thread?

Thanks Toots! I struggled last night and had to get out for a walk in the middle of proceedings. Hope I didn't look like a lunatic but needed to protect my sobriety!!! Anyway, I made it. 2 months today, I just realised!

Congrats on two months, Amp! Sorry you struggled last night but glad you made the decision to not drink.
Starting day 44 now. Work tonight. Doing some step study stuff this morning then I think I'm going to go buy a big old steak to cook for lunch. I deserve it.

Happy Father's Day to all fathers. This will one will be my first one sober. It used to be an excuse to crack open beers as early as I pleased, and have one hell of a day. This year I'll have more fun fishing BBQ'ing, playing with my kids and making a batch of lemon iced tea.

Congrats on 2 Amp! 
Busy weekend here. Had a condo meeting from you-know-where today. Long, heated and several showing their ignorance as usual. But we got what we wanted, some long needed masonry work.
Just got back from the symphony, last concert of the season.
Hot here this weekend, so staying in. Even HRH Olive is not in the mood to head out much.
