Good morning, gang. Thank you for the well wishes. My headache yesterday went into full migraine mode so yesterday was a day of ice packs and rest. Today is a bit better. Still having headaches but the migraine sickness seems to be gone. Pray I will get better and that we find what is causing these. I'm making some headway with one healthcare provider, but not enough yet apparently. Anyway, I know it is all in God's hands and all will be well.

The oak tree has tremendous strength and hard wood, and resists attack from disease. It is the sacred tree of Zeus and Thor.
Oak, possibly Quercus virginiana, the southern live oak. The Treaty Oak in Austin Texas is the last of a grove of 14 oaks that were a sacred meeting place for Comanche and Tonkawa Tribes. It was badly vandalized in 1989 but has survived and bears acorns again (Treaty Oak (Austin, Texas) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
I wish us all the strength of trees. See you here tomorrow!
P.S. Bobbi, my friend was rescued to Base Camp by helicopter but is still up pretty high – thanks for asking. There’s a lot of suffering there and I hope people all over the world will do what they can to help the people in Nepal.

Day 31. One month ago I had my last drink, seems such a long time ago.
Had a difficult day yesterday and despite my confident post yesterday morning I almost wilted without so much as a whimper. Slightly depressed by how easily I almost gave in. However I'm still here, shaken and a little scared.
Another 24 please, please, please.

Well done Milestoners and Midton ! Just take it easy, one small step at a time. Dont focus beyond the one day. And be patient with yourself.
