I heard from Soberleigh this morning. Unfortunately, she is still very seriously ill.
She wanted me to pass along her love and let you know that the wishes and hopes of your hearts are in her prayers.

Something particularly odd is going on with me today.
I'm seven days sober. I am happy about this and I've read a chapter of the Big Book, I'm at a meeting tonight and I'm doing okay. But that alcoholic voice is going crazy! I can't shake it today.
I'm thinking this is normal to have good days and bad days especially in early sobriety, but this is definitely the strongest that annoying voice has been all week!
Sober for today. Just getting through the next hour.
I'm seven days sober. I am happy about this and I've read a chapter of the Big Book, I'm at a meeting tonight and I'm doing okay. But that alcoholic voice is going crazy! I can't shake it today.
