Hey hey to all the milestoners ! ***** ! Well done, congrats and all the trimmings Keep moving forward.

Last night a non-AA person came to the rooms. She shared that her husband had recently died as a result of his alcoholism. He had gone to detox multiple times in the past year but had always refused to go to AA. She had gone to al-anon for many years to try and support him. Now, she wanted to understand why he did what he did. It was so heart rending to hear her weep over the loss of her husband, that she loved him so much despite his drinking.

It reminds me of the gift of sobriety and how grateful I am to be here.

Another 24 hours of compassion, loving kindness and sobriety pls. Its 9:09am here !

Pouncer, you're among friends. Relapse sucks but it's not the end of the world. Been there, done that and don't plan on doing it again, although I feel that my relapse only strengthened my resolve and focus to stay sober.

I've said before, a sober day is yours to keep. I say take one day at a time and be kind to yourself. With time, comes strength.

Stay strong, stay safe

Checking in tonight. Going for another 24 hours at 9:07p CST.

Congrats to Martina12, Peacehappyness and Gilmer on reaching new milestones today! To celebrate, we have a Confetti Angel Food Cake with Fluffy White Frosting. Keep up the great work!

I did want to mention that Chickchick has been struggling as of late. She posted in newcomer's awhile back that she relapsed. I've been worried about her. If you could send her some love and thoughts, that would be awesome.

Courage-sending you peace and calm.

. Gilmer and all our friends celebrating this day, Congratulations!! To our friends who a bit wobbly ..... Damn you're here! A friend in my Big Book Workshop shared on Saturday that she drank on Tuesday. The love and support she received is exactly what I see here in our family. Paraphrasing the military ...We don't leave our wounded.
Checking in for the next 24 hours of my recovery, thanks to HP & AA

Someone referred to today as "Friday Eve". I plan to add that to my quiver of euphemisms.
