One Year & Over Part 24
Happy St Paddys day everyone who celebrates it.
All well in Tootsville (pop1) the Lord mayor has decided to incorporate the St Patrick's parade with the Cup win celebrations. Green and white the order of the day!
FBL, sounds like your mum has settled in well, I am happy for you all, it is certainly less worry.
hugs all

Wolf, all well?
FBL,
You guys worked hard to make that situation work. Her place sounds like more fun than anyone imagined. I'm so happy for you guys.
Andy that is impressive ancestral research! Have you found this recently or known from family lore?
Hi Drake and backache!

RZ,
You ever run into the city for the parade? Today's will be a gay one indeed!
Well my MIL has recovered completely after we nearly lost her to cancer, and other complications. She went from looking like she'd never get out of bed again, and had withered down to 82 pounds at her worst. She is steadily gaining weight and save for a spot on her lung that biopsied negative, and is just put aside for now as non-threatening, may just be here to manage her spouse, my FIL, who is sporadic but definitely suffering memory issues. The good new is they will be able to stay in their home for the near future and she can keep him from burning the house down. Or flooding it from leaving faucet running.
Friends are coming in tomorrow from our RV fulltime group, and are staying at an RV park nearby for a few days. We'd been friends in forums for years but never met in the "meat world."
I'm sitting here among friends, yet alone in comfort. Bob Seeger's the ring playing on the wave system via Bluetooth from my Windows 8.1 phone. Some calls to make, some roads to take. Later. A mood, like walking in the rain.
I feel like the calm in the center of a storm that moves with it until the last. I see the winds of change all around me and find it fascinating to just watch, within and without.
So life goes on.

Toots - thanks for asking about my friend and my niece! I have not seen my work friend since her son died apart from from afar at the funeral. She was due to retire from work this month anyway, so I am really not expecting her back at work at all.... Very sad.
My niece has been slowly improving week on week and today I got news that she took a few steps in a special walker - the first steps taken since last August!! So that's brilliant
Life is always a mixed bag, isn't it?
Thinking of you all

Good morning Overs.
Itchy - I did the research back to 1799 when the trail dried up a bit and now my Mum has picked it up and if it all checks out has taken us back to 1720ish. I hope your bit of the world starts to dry out soon.
Wolfie - good to hear you are mending.
fg - great news about your niece.
Have a good day everyone.
