I would like to be a camp steward when I get older. Park the camper somewhere beautiful and meet people from all over. Maybe fish hike and forage. Tell kids to be quiet.

What's a camp steward? Like a park ranger or something?

Hubby bought us a used Keystone Cougar (settle down Tonks) - it's a 32' RV trailer. We are psyched to hit the road. A friend was selling it. Only used to live in inside of a pole barn in North Dakota so no road miles and gently used for only a year.
I have no experience with RVs but it will be fun I'm sure.
We are taking a couple short trips and then heading to Sturgis for the week before bike week. A friend is trailering out our bikes. We plan on a week of riding out there then head back. Beautiful country.

Brynn- I think BigShoe means he would like to watch over or manage a campground. A lot of times if you mow for a season, watch over things, maybe work the front desk they let you stay at the campground all season for free. it would be a nice way to retire.

I would never steer you wrong sister Della. I am not one to take cold medicine but that stuff rocks.

Thanks middy! That would be sweet!

Sis B...your new RV sounds awesome! Any of your sober biker friends have RVs and boats? I hear Della's looking!

Middy, our Sturgis trip is end of July through first week of August. We will be gone nearly two weeks total. Very excited.

I've found Camp Hosts/Stewards to be so awesome. Wealth of information about the area as well as just generally awesome story tellers.

And I wasn't feeling left out brynnburger, I prefer to be under the skies and next to a campfire. Can't beat it.

Always gotta love a cougar B

Tonks, the only camping that I have ever done has been under the stars. No tent, just a sleeping bag and what we could carry in a backpack.
At this point in my life I think I'll enjoy having a real bed and real bathroom.
I can chill under the stars and then go into the comfort.

BBQBiker- you won't want to come back!

A lot of people do dry camping (that means in their driveway) before they take the RV trailer or pop up out for the first time. It really does give you an idea about what all you need for your first trip.

We bought ours TT locally too. It was like new but without the new price!
