Leshar...sorry you are perhaps going into another episode. I think you underestimate what a huge thing it was to stop drinking whilst you are dealing with your bipolar. That's a huge step you've taken!

I know the road has been rocky for you, but all those little things like keeping a routine, and sleeping at the right time helped you. Getting worried and anxious about another episode surely can't help? I hope you find some peace and tranquility today in something. Even if it's something small.

Hello everybody.
I still stop in here, just don't post as often.
I've been working long hours. Put in 52 hrs this week.

We just spent a little money and bought a new computer.
Figured we would try an All in one computer this time around instead of a notebook.
It must be good, my daughter has been on it since we got it.lol

Anyways, that gives me more time on my notebook to chat with you guys.

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon here.
Years ago I would be waiting till 12 noon to run to the package store.
Glad I don't do that anymore.

It pleases me a lot to see our little July group doing well.
We all have our trials and tribulations, but stand strong.

I must admit that sometimes that ole AV still will nag me about drinking.
I thought maybe this would go away after a year and a half.
Guess it's a cross I'll have to bear for a while, maybe a lifetime. But, it is what it is and I'm very resolute in my decision to remain sober.

Seems some of my new coworkers have also put down the bottle in their lives as well.
A few have gotten into trouble from it in the past. And some just stopped much like we did. Knowing that it was leading us to ruin.

Take care everybody. I'll check back later tonight.

I had the occasional thoughts for maybe the first two years, Bob, and then in times for stress for a couple years after that...?

it's what we do with those thoughts that counts

Snoozy - hope the tournament wasn't on the news LOL

Happy Canberra day to our Aussie friends.

I'm getting my bedroom carpet ripped up today, and I'm hoping that the hardwood floors underneath are ok, or treatable. I'm trying to refresh my bedroom to give my spirits a bit of a lift. Feeling low and very irritable.

So, how many are still with us from July of 2013. It really feels like an eternity lately. I'm dealing with some non alcoholic issues and I can honestly say I was tempted this past weekend. I got through it though and I can honestly say that If I would have picked up the bottle again I probably would have been even more anxious than I am at the moment. I'm staying sober.

Tnman congrats on NOT. Picking up the bottle , I'm so proud of you. Glad you came here to share your thoughts with us.

I just got given a beautiful expensive bottle of white wine for helping a nurse with her studies. Not even tempted , it will make s nice regift. We get tested so many times don't we ?
It can be tough but we don't EVER wanna go back down that road again do we

Well done xxxx
