Thanks, Toots. You do great summaries - I think you have become our de facto class historian! :-)

North, checking the weather reports, looks like a little cold front will be moving through when you get here, then back to normal, should be in the mid 70's Saturday!!!!!

Good morning Marchers A special good morning to Anna, how nice of you to come by and check on us during the night.

Toots your summaries are incomparable -- and so are you.

Gilmer I don't cry easily but this morning the tears keep welling up, I hope they come to you too. I've realised what my tears are about, they are about J, they are about all of us and that it could have been any of us and they are for the Marchers like our Jim who struggle so much.

Dee I don't know what we would do without you.

Be well and safe peeps.

Hugs for everyone .

I hope those who have other beliefs won't find it distasteful if I share this here.

I may have said this to some of you, but my feeling is God called her Home.
Her suffering is over, and she's with her mum and dad again.

Exactly what I believe, Dee. My first thought was that she is now with her beloved parents.

Dee, thank you. Your words bring me comfort. I can't help but think that could have been me if I hadn't stopped when I did. All the love and caring I found here helped me decide to get additional help. I only wish we had been able to help Josie, too.

Wow...some amazing thoughts posted here today... where to start??

Toots: You absolutely are a fantastic historian... you captured the essences, of our situations, especially in my case. Nothing else I have been blabbering about is of much importance to me (other than my social chats and support to/from my Marchers) than my "grandchildren."

JG: Just so you know, Budd declined to have some of us Marcher women visit him... even with offers of homemade pot pies!! He said he is scared of some of us...can you believe it????

Dee: Thank you so much for opening the door for us to talk about spiritual beliefs, relating to J's passing. I believe with all my heart that God did not want her to continue to suffer so greatly and called her home to be with her parents and grant her peace. I think most religions share the core belief that God is a compassionate God so am grateful you posted your own thoughts, allowing me to feel comfortable disclosing mine as well.

Disclaimer: I do not want to offend any Marchers who may be agnostic/atheist in their beliefs, and I respect the right of us all to have our own belief systems.

Thank you for this Dee.

I didn't really sleep.
I still can't stop crying.

Last night Josie's best friend accepted my friend request on FB and we talked for quite a while.

It was a comfort to her to know that so many of us cared for Josie.

I thought we were all too raw for this yesterday: ~

RIP Josie.
I hope your soul is tap dancing in heaven now.

Look who's back, back again
Joygrrrrl's back, tell a friend!
Wooooohooooo!!!

I bow to toots, queen of recaps.

Ok we know a bit more about the wedding, we picked a date-yaaay! So now we have to plan and figure out how to pay---yikes!!! I'm gonna start a crowd funding site, call it "my big fat gay wedding." Lol

Ok all fun a aside, I think I need to say another thing about lifet. I don't mean to sound harsh, but here's the deal about the cancer flap: Nobody, and I do mean NOBODY should feel bad about how we reacted. Every single person here who responded to that, did so from the heart. Nobody was mean. Some of us were hurt by it and said so, and that's ok. We are all humans here, doing our best to save our own lives in recover. We are all thinking, feeling beings. I saw a lot of honesty, pain, and compassion during that time.

I wish we could have helped her more, saved her life. I feel every one of us gave what we could, when we could. But in the end, it wasn't up to us. We can support, but we can't control. In the end I'm responsible for my recovery and you are responsible for yours. I'm gonna use every bit of experience, strength and hope I can to save my own life and hopefully help yours along the way.

Love you guys, g.

Yes, I forgot to say thank you toots for the awesome recap.
You do it so so well!!

And thank you darling wehav for the laugh!!
(my big fat gay wedding...).
Maybe you can have a fund-raising party, and invite Nia Vardalos.
People will flock to see her, and you can ask for donations. LOL.
I am a nut.

Wehav- 2 words: bridesmaids kilts.

Duff and Budd- I don't think I live that far from ya'll now. Just sayin...

If I lose this post, I will lose my mind.

V- I can almost hear Josie's little feet tapping. While playing the fiddle. Smiling. That's how I've been picturing her all day.

In the past 8 months I have moved and gone back to work teaching preschoolers, most with special needs. I beat stress by running. A lot. And I do yoga. And Ben and Jerry. (Cherry Garcia- hahaha! What did you expect from me?)

The end. ))

I'll check that thread. I was also doing competitive planking, but do you know that can cause injuries! LDT and I nearly paralyzed ourselves.

I won. (Don't tell her I told you.) haha!

LOL...our whiners workout thread is nowhere near the serious stuff that LDT and you have been doing.
Well, some of us (not me) are into the full-on training.
I just walk....for hours.
I have a part-time job that I walk and deliver kidney health bags for donations of clothing, etc. Yesterday I did 6 hours. And I was sick. So not too bad huh?
