So sorry, Hearts, for the loss of a friend. 43 is way too young. And to leave behind an 8 year old child is tragic.

Hugs and love for all who are suffering pain and losses today. 
Congrats to all celebrants.
My world is focused on recovery, and the birthday party my wife is giving for our friend who has throat cancer which has been treated with a lot of radiation but still there.
It has become easier for me and my ego to think about others with all of my stuff either fixed or in the background.
Another 24 in frigid Maryland today is a piece of cake.
