I'm so glad to be sober today. Since it is the first month of the year Daily Reflections focuses on Step 1. In my daily reading I'm revisiting Step 1 in my head if nothing else, and that's a good thing since now and then I need reminders that I in fact do have this disease. It is so easy for me to forget how desperate and miserable I was as time marches forward; it's like sitting in jail, crying that you'll never break the law again, only to get out and do it again. That being said, this alcoholic needs 24 more!!!
