Congrats Billy!! And Happy New Year to my SR friends. Today is my 3 year anniversary!! It gives me a thrill to think about how much better my life has become and how strong I am. Thank you all from the bottom my heart for the understanding and encouragement.
The holidays were good and my middle son arrived today to celebrate Christmas all over again! Whew, I'm exhausted.
Here's to a healthy and soberlicious 2015 to all of us! Onward and Upward!

My oldest son called us and told us he has admitted himself to a facility for depression and alcoholism. It was a prayer answered but I still have so many worries. Please say a prayer for him and our family or send him some healing energy. He says he likes it there and everything is going great but that's how he is. Everything is great one day and then he's in despair. I hope he can get the help he needs.

Hey Dee, I'm doing OK and thanks for asking. My son spent 5 weeks in recovery and this week is outpatient for him. He says it was the best decision he ever made and he's happier than he's been in years. I'm guardedly optimistic. He has had a lot of these extreme emotions but I hope all the individual and group counseling was able to address that. We haven't seen him but hopefully he'll come for a visit this week. He lives about an hour away. I have been consumed with worry over him. Other than that life is good.The weather has been cold and snowy but I can just stay indoors if I have to.
