Hello friends,
I'm happy to report I was 1 year sober on Sunday.
Feels great. I know its a long road ahead and i'm far from recovered but at least we're on the path.
For me I could not have done it without the fellowship and the program, and for that i'm eternally grateful. And you my friends your words of encouragement when I was slipping was very helpful, I seen you all getting on and that gave me great hope.
Love to all the Jan 12ers and to main man Dee.

Happy Saturday all. Sun tea perking on the patio, pork roast marinating for the treger b b q later. Did a round if garage sales ( disappointing). Laundry going and yard work in the near future. Gonna be a good day!

You the man Seannie!! Congratulations. How wonderful that you fought your way to a year sober. I'm so proud of you and I actually got a little misty when I read your post! We are all doing awesome I'd say.
I'll check out the hooping on FB and youtube, Nel. I took that one class and it was a lot of fun. I recently took some yoga classes and I loved it so I hope to continue that again in the fall. Right now I'm walking and kayaking and enjoying life!
I also miss NBC and hope she's OK. I sent her a direct message but never got a reply.

Hi Billy!! So nice to hear from you. I guess we are all doing well and enjoying summer. Things are good with me. I'm kayaking lots, walking and jogging a bit. All 3 of my kids seem to being well at the moment so that helps, haha. It's been hot here the last few days (well in the 80's which is hot for VT) and I'm just loving my sober summer!
