Class Of February 2014 Part 2
I'm craving salty stuff, although last week it was sweet stuff. Just had some peanuts and a couple slices of cheese and the cravings have gone away, which is good.
Oh and trust me. Lots of other people are craving food like crazy too, especially sweets.

I think the general consensus was that if your doctor thinks it's bad enough that you need to stop drinking then it's probably exactly that, can you see your doctor again? if the uncertainty is causing you anxiety it's a good idea to find out exactly what's going on
Good luck all. HS
Day 18. I feel so much better sober. My general anxiety level is low, and my panic attacks have drastically reduced in frequency. Yet, my AV is going like crazy. Tonight it nearly convinced me to make a pit stop at the store to pick up wine. I tried ignoring it, but it came back. So I finally told it no because my quality of life is better without wine. Then I decided to pick up snacks for me and my family instead. Tonight we enjoyed some salty chex mix and some sweet ice cream. And I'm going to bed sober tonight.
I was hoping someone would tell me they taste awful because I've been fighting the temptation to buy some. Guess I should at least wait until I've finished off the girl scout cookies.
Hi everyone,
I am with you all on the snacking and sweets cravings. I was never a sweets person either, but now it seems like that is all I want. Husband got me a huge box of chocolates for Valentines Day and it is almost gone! Zomber, I heard about those cookie dough oreos (that they were yummy). May have to buy some tomorrow, thanks
Is everyone doing ok tonight? Nights are the hardest for me so I come here a lot!! Happy to be winding down Day 10. I love sober sleep. I don't miss the passing out, waking up at 3am dehydrated and unable to get back to sleep, etc.

Oh the sweets got me before bed. A waffle with Cinnabon syrup on it. But it's better than my usual 12 pack of beer and being passed out cold on the couch after making a fool of myself online or the phone.
Looking forward to sober day 10 tomorrow.
