One Year & Under Club Part 27
Hi all!
Grace, thanks for giving us the Reader's Digest version! I hope work's ok and you're successfully sneaky
DG, I love your gratitude -- you have come a long way and you know how to keep it coming!
Soberjim, I'm glad you're back. I hope you'll post often from now on -- it helps you & it helps us!
Elseware, how are you doing? Loneliness is hard. If you have a lot of free/alone time, can you maybe volunteer somewhere? In the meantime, like Dan & Samwitch say, you're not alone on SR.
Siesta, it's good to see you & happy birthday soon!
Stevie, congratulations on the weight gain!
Carlos, I'm glad you're taking steps to get yourself in a better state of emotional sobriety. It's great that you know what to do!
I'm just checking in. I'm not so tired as I was last week, and a bit more like my normal alcoholic self. If any of you don't know what "I'm FINE" means in AA, feel free to look it up. Mine is the version you can't write on SR.

Hi all,
SJ so good to see a post from you hon, please don't stay away,we can help keep you focussed, and to be perfectly honest sweetie, I miss you when you are not around!
Steve I hope the shift went well
BF, I was bopping in our booth at the restaurant tonight to some tunes on in the background, I got called pathetic by hubby! Ha! Pathetic is not knowing the words to any song written since 1974! We had a nice day today, hubby treated me to a new coat, ( so he's not all bad!) and bought himself one a lot cheaper than he'd seen it in another store so that cheered him!
Elsie, please don't be lonely sweetie, there is always someone here to hang out with. I am a terror for self isolation, I know I need to keep on top of that especially now I am in a strange town with no social circle or job to interact with. I know you feel homesick sometimes, do you think your feelings of loneliness are related?
Samwich, how are things with you? What have you been up to since you were here last? Siesta how is the family situation just now?
I hope all my other Undie friends are doing well, will check back in tomorrow. X

Hello,
Else, I hope the evening brought you some peace and respite from loneliness.
Carlos, did the day end better than it started?
Courage, you're funny...in a dry sense. lol.
Toots, have you met anyone so far? That you will relate to?
My first day was brilliant. I'm so in my element. They supplied me with a brand new 27 inch mac screen, a new macbook laptop, and the whole lot. The perks seem very nice. It wasn't even hard to be back in full gear working. It's demanding intellectual work but I thrive with it. Just wanted to give some quick news.
Night!

PS: Mirryah, please speak up.

Hi all...
Tough day today.
Had to send my Dad to hospital, trouble breathing.
They say it might be congenital heart failure.
I visited and he looked good and said he felt alot better.
He asked if I was still on the wagon. I told him two months, and he seemed very happy for me.
Did I think about drinking tonite? Oh, yeah.
It's terrible watching the ones you love grow old and weak.
Makes me very sad.
