Coming up on the end of a busy week.

Feeling much better physically. Got a clean bill of health from my doc.

Have a great weekend, all!

Happy Friday

Had a nice time on the beach yesterday, windy, lots of kite surfers. My dog just loves to run and play as we walk, she tried a bite of seaweed, not to her taste.

Felling well, despite the fact I had a bad reaction to an insect bite a few days ago. Seems to be getting better, I'm keeping check on it.

Wishing all a pleasant weekend,
Bloss

Aw thanks, I only wish that were true. But if I stumble through life it's OK because the only competition is with myself... and compared to where I was when I was drinking, it's no contest at all.

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit low, Manz. I'm not sure if contentment is the right word, but sometimes when the road ahead looks daunting, it helps me to take stock of how far I've come already. In your case, you not only beat addiction, but also went on to help others...Pretty amazing stuff, Manz.

That's great to hear, FBL!

And thanks for the laugh with the avatar... Answering the age-old question, "Oh by the way, which one's Pink?"

Stumbling through life sober is better than stumbling around the house pissed grizzling to myself waking up sometime later on the couch or the floor

Newby..way to go hun! Congrats now incase I forget on Monday(which is my Tuesday and therefore quite likely I'll get mixed up!)

FBL.....glad to hear you got a clean bill of health.

R&A..thanks. Reviewing how far you have come is a good tool for anyone, true. I say the same to my clients. I feel like I want to make excuses for why it isnt helping me right now, but I dont need to right? I have just been surprised this week by something scary that I do not understand. I will get there though, that is for sure....things can always get better.

I had a market today and it was fairly busy....I absolutely love the generosity of people when it comes to getting their Mums something nice for Mothers Day. So sweet seeing children bring Mum to my stall to buy a special peice of jewellery. Naaaawww.

Weeman is a little worse tonight Poor wee boy, he is exhausted with it too.

Agreed RA. Mine passed away 10 or do years ago. she filled me with her love and beleved in me until i could make it on my own. I lost my way in my teens and within the family i was the least likely to succeed. Mum always encouaged me and when i resumed my education she always slipped me the dollars. It worked out.

Afternoon Overs,

Happy Mothers Day to all of you.

Like some of you I lost my mom on 6/6/09 so it is kinda hard when all the commercials on TV seem to play over & over different gifts for mom.

Anyhoo at least we are all sober and not worrying our moms anymore. Peace ya all.

Hope all the moms had a nice day, no cards for me, my sons did send me texts wishing me a happy day.

Start of a warm week here, above normal temps, I'll and some to those in need of warmth.

Back a little later

Afternoon Overs,

I have been feeling sort of sorry for myself cause I am celebrating 9 yrs today and no one remembered. I feel like an idiot for having to say anything but I have been through hell and back to get this amount of time and I deserve to celebrate it don't I or am I being a bit shallow? I mean it really is my HP's doing not mine.
So anyhoo hope all of you have a wonderful day.
