Well, a hale and hearty hello to all of you lovely Overs! Been lurking and working for all four seasons to join this swanky, exclusive club. Today is my one year sober anniversary, baby! Oh, yeah! I'm staying in to celebrate. Anyone have the number for the concierge in this joint? I'm hankering for some room service.

Mothers day for me had highs and lows.... gotta love a 6 yr old and tantrums & baaaaaad behaviour! Lol. I can laugh now.
Today I had my results visit at the specialist...good news is the biopsy came back as benign, other news was to be told I have a condition that I must have had for AGES, that has caused me grief for AGES and I NEVER KNEW!!! I guess I can do something about it now. I also can see now that my Weeman is TRULY a little miracle as I ought not to have been able to conceive! (given my condition and at the time his dad was told he was infertile due to years of cancer treatment)
Miracles happen..... silver lining....right there.

I've been off SR because it's spring and gardening and work and running. Husband has started his own business, rather than getting another full-time job, and it's taking off as a success (knock wood!).

Hello all nearing 500 days sober here , oh my how time flies ! Thinking back to my early days don't think I could ever imagine then 500 days ! Feel good although it has been a bit rocky at times. No going back only forward .

Still pretty hectic at my end. My poor father-in law was taken into hospital today, thankfully he's going to be ok just going to need a little extra TLC for the next week or so.

Just trucking along here, doing the aspiring freelancer thing, lots of cool new projects on the go, and new connections with innovative people. Am loving it!
I've been trying to get a job at an out-of-town newspaper, but am having trouble because they all require that I have a vehicle, and I don't have one. Frustrating that a logistical problem is holding me back.
No, I do not have money to buy one, even a cheap one. I am flat broke, argh.
Hope you are all well and are enjoying your various versions of spring/summer! We are warming up; had two weeks of absolutely magical weather, now back to spring rains. Been going to the beach a lot, low tide is amazing with the dog. I love it at this time, before the tourists are here. Soon it will be too crowded to go to the beaches in town, the parking is a nightmare and I hate crowds. Which is why I want to get out of town for the summer, but it might not be in the cards this year. Oh well! All I can do is my best.
