Theres bsen loud, strange, booming thunder all night and morning without accompanying lightening. Two roses bloomed in my garden. I cut them. If the world ends today, at least I will have fresh roses to look at.

EQ yes I am finally feeling better. Still have a lil cough but its not a big deal. Enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas!
Well I'm up early. Have to work till 12
. I much rather watch Christmas movies but that's gonna have to wait. I'm supossed to go to my dads tonight for dinner and then tomorrow I really wanted to just relax at home by myself since I work again early the next day but I keep getting pulled in different directions to go places so we will see what happens.

Hey everyone! Belated Merry Christmas and a soon to be HAPPY new year!
Had a rough week. I had one bad parathyroid gland removed a week ago. Surgery went well!
The next day I went to a student's house...his mom died. They had a memorial for her.
I don't remember much of the next few days...recovery was rough. I was withdrawing from anesthesia and hospital drugs and pain killers. I had zero energy. I remember shopping on Christmas Eve morning. Went to 2 stores in the mall and prayed I'd make it home without falling asleep.
Christmas I awoke to Superboy puking in his bed. Took 2 rounds of Zofran before he stopped. Santa was good to him. He got a train table.
I ended up having tummy bug 2 days ago.
One big problem I found was I forgot to take Wellbutrin for a week. I think it messed w my levels.
Another problem was hormones. I'm feeling stable now that my dormant parathyroid glands woke up. I had to consume a lot of calcium tablets this past week.
Sorry to sound like a Debbie downer. We all have a bad week here and there, right?

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
I'm working this weekend overtime so a lil tired but that's about it. Had some cravings hit today but hopped on here instead. Gotta head back to work in a bit.

Bf: Well done coping with your craving by going on SR! I have often wondered how anyone recovered before smart phones and recovery websites. ; )

I always come back to this thread when I am struggling and not the upbeat ones. Lol
Struggling with facing things again. Stupid things but theyre my things. I refuse to give room to that voice in my head yelling that I am worthless, and helpless. It stops me from facing my fears and they are irrational and must be faced. I haven't faced them but I haven't drank. And so instead of the AV I have a HHWV Helpless hopeless and worthless voice and today in my depression and panic I realized that I can work at detaching from the HHWV just like I did with my AV. And that is my plan. (Just came up with that by the way lol)
