EQ I'm really surprised and shocked with my 4 months. All new ground for me making it this far and with my boss and aunt dying then my dogs massive surgery I've gone thru some real tests!
How would you recap your year sober? That is such an awesome achievement!

I would recap it as one day at a time. Lol truly.
I said on another thread it is like finally graduating high school and leaving for college. You have to survive with all new friends and its fun and scary, but you know you can't go backwards from where you came.

Yes, an official congrats now, EQ! And fantastic work on 4 mo, BF. That's a tremendous accomplishment. So many people (myself included on many occassions) stumble in the early days without ever allowing themselves to truly see the light. So many reasons why, but at the core for me it was fear of commitment, even though there was no question in my mind or heart that it was the right thing to do. So proud of both of you for making that commitment to yourselves and seeing it through... one day at a time!

Thank you WC! You inspire me!

Anyone watching the Grammys? They started dull but turned good. Jack white, (still on) The lumineres, Fun, Mumford and sons, Justin timberlake were all great I thought. I am hoping Florence and the Machine are on later.

Rock, we are happy to have you here! But I probably should tell you that you are posting in the Feb 2012 class. If you want the Feb 2013 class look in the Newcomers forum. But I'm glad you're here in either case! Good decision!

I had a dream last night where I drank some white wine someone handed me. It tasted sour. Then I remembered in the dream, oh NO, I quit drinking! I haven't had a drinking dream since the first couple months of sobriety. But I have been severely stressed for months now. First we had to turn in a boss who was stealing from us. Then go six weeks with no boss. And now new boss of last month has turned my job I loved into something I hate. I dread going. I have headaches. I'm depressed. Someone in department resigned today. This just means the one area of my life I thought I did not need to change right now will now have to be changed. I am trying everyday to change and cope but each day she comes up with some new rule or burden that takes me down further. Thanks for letting me vent. She makes me work so.late now too that I'm having a hard time relaxing in any down time. I wish the weather would warm up so I could get some exercise in to help cope. But it is supposed to snow again tomorrow night I think. Oh well.

Sorry about your job EQ. I hope you can find some solution there - is it time to move on?

Have a good night BF

Dee I just saw on the news on a golfcourse in Australia a sudden crowd of kangaroos bounced over the green during the game. It was so funny. I didnt know that you would see kangaroos in plain sight like that unless you were out hiking or something. But what do I know. I'm afraid of a squirrel. LOL

Bf I wrote a big post and it wouldn't submit. : (
Anyway how is your dog feeling? And that's crazy that you were anywhere close to that killer on the loose.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend
