Where's my classmates? Hope we're all alive and well. I was at a meeting today and the speaker informed us about a guy in the program with 18 years sober who just shot himself, and is dead. The speaker told us about a letter he had written before he committed suicide. The man wrote that he had NEVER worked the steps, and NEVER been honest.
I'm starting my 4th step tonight. I pray that God keeps this guy and that he rests in peace.

RIP... I sure hope sobriety never gets me down that low, the drink took me there way too many times to count.
I feel very good most days with little bouts of bitterness, I just past 7 months sober

Congrats on 7 months to you! I didn't know that guy but another poster said, "When we lie we die" and I guess that is heartbreakingly true.
