Oh thank goodness. A missing kitty at Christmas would just never do, not even on Whiners. Big hugs to Kittykitty from Aunt Queeny.

I got my flu shot this morning. Owwwwwieeee!!! That smarted. I thought of poor CMC and all her allergy shots and that made me brave up.

I am so grateful to be in the sunny south for Christmas. There was a time not many years ago that I wouldn't go anywhere. It's a gift of recovery that I am here today. I feel like a new person, really I do. Sunshine and warm days are good for this achy codie.

Happy almost Christmas, Whiners.

I was too busy to get my shot before we came down here, so better late than never. Bubba (the wise one) already got his....guess we know who did all the work to prepare for this vacation.

ouch, you are hitting an injured person....I get mine right at work...but I missed the first round...I managed to sneak into medical student health where they took me on a whim...I was passing by the conference room and saw them vaccinating the med. students....I ran in and whipped my arm out of my neckline before they could say NO.

it only takes about 2 weeks to build up in your system and back up north, you probably have a longer flu season anyway???

What makes you a senior? I hope that I am not considered senior because I am older than 25 (which is antique).

Finished my wrapping with help from daughter. I didn't give her my new wrist tape. She is young and can handle it. But it works wonderfully! She was wrapping as fast as I could find the stuff and find the boxes to put it in. Something about the new bags just isn't opening up presents. Need lots of paper and lots of mess! Besides what would kitty play with>? He does love chewing on the edges of those bags thou.

...one more makes 5...whooppeeee

DEEEEEEEEEEEE.........hope ya hear this on the way out the door...........loves ya big man and have a great holiday and a well deserved break.

Mizz Fandy - the boobs are very versatile indeed - myself fell on my butt today in the park and Noah just thought this was hysterical.......have to say I did too and the park was empty thank God........soooooo much snow......lurvin it.

Hevyn - a gift bag is a great way of taking a Wally's jumper and making it look like Bloomingdales. (If I got the store refs wrong - I'm Irish FFS!!!)

Sunshine, sunshine reggae........ooooh Ann wish I could do a flit but then no snow.

HB - scoping at the hos ..........eh? Truth is I'd be there in a heart beat doing the same lol.

RZ - they say the aging process really has you in a death grip when you lose the urge to throw snowballs.

Least - where is your DK hiding?

LTT - very decadent having someone do one's wrapping!

Anyone I missed - SOZ - managed that without post-its.

Away - You got the store refs right (very good) but what is a jumper? Here, it's a sort of dress with no arms that you put over a top. I know that's not what it is there....please educate me.

LTT - I am definitely getting one of those wrist thingys. Glad you mentioned it.

Least - Yay that KittyKitty came back. Knew he would.

Dk is in her apt with her sister, thank goodness. I'm just glad she doesn't live with me anymore.

I am frustrated today. I got a nice NYC calendar for next year... and cannot find it anywhere!! I hate it when that happens...

Never mind... I found it in the kitchen, of all places!! What a maroon!

Oh Ozzy that was very cute...I copied it to send to my brother (who is 11 years older than moi)....he will be 65....he has difficulty using correct text language.

"The whiners were all tucked snug in their beds...while visions of Lobster tails, redvelvet cake and peppermint bark danced in their heads"! the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...but the cats ripped them down and dragged them into the litterbox.

hbee must be flashing her lashes at her new friends in the hospital....

Oz, That is hilarious. Thank you (I suppose).

Fandy - Very clever - I love it - but it got me whining for my peppermint bark again. Are you still sore?

I am not motivated to finish up wrapping or baking. It's now or never.

Many hunky docs spreading Christmas cheer; I hope this becomes a career.

Fands, my niece's husband has a bit in that movie, The Fighter. It's about a fighter from Lowell, Massachusetts where they live and was filmed there.

A little autobio: I grew up with the Wahlberg's as a kid (in Boston).

My other niece and her husband (the figgy pudding couple) couldn't fly to London today. Flight was cancelled like hundreds of others there.

London got 5 inches of snow last Saturday and they've been at a standstill since.

They don't have the equipment or know-how to deal with snow like we do (not blaming...just sayin) 5 inches of snow paralyzed them.

Brazil...bestill my heart...from the sounds of it, that *is* the lottery.

Hope I get there before I'm a senior.

And when I do, I'll know to be a textually active senior!

Good one Oz!

I feel like a senior

My back and neck are killing me...maybe I should bat my lashes at a physical therapist.

No chiropractors pls...imho they're quackers (personal experience).

I'd try that too but am way past lash-batting.

I second that emotion!

Finally...here's a whine from me:

My day was going well until I went to the thrift store and a lady (in Aisle 62) kept trying to move my cart...with _me_ still holding on to it!!!

It became a game of tug-o-war, with her pulling the front end towards herself and me pulling it back.

My cart was full of stuff too....including my purse. Sheesh. I wasn't in her way or blocking the aisle. I guess she wanted the aisle all to herself and after I finally yanked it back and firmly said "NO." She gave up & mumbled something (in a language I don't understand) to her friend.

I think they were planning to lift some holiday cash outta my bag.

That's my whine and I'm stickin' to it.
