I feel as though I missed something....time for anothr cup of "The Lively Columbian...aka Porno coffee"
in case anyone is concerned, i have coughed up my *hairball* and slept like the dead...thanks to an OTC sleeping pill (mostly benydril, i was multi-tasking even in my sleep)...a valarian and a melatonin supplement....i feel almost human and my headache is gone.
have a wonderful whiney day all...i've got groceries to fetch, a furniture sale from mommy's house and 3 loads of laundry....Lasagna for dinner, so i gotta make a quick batch of *gravy*

Just a small but worthy whine this morning...I am on vacation and still wake up at 6 am. I have tried staying up late, say past 11 pm 
....and it doesn't help.
The world is not awake at 6 am on a Saturday. And the stores are not open yet!!!

HS, hope that you get to enjoy some wide open space today. I will be for sure thinking of you as I face the ice cream's looking back at me at the store later today. Cannot get heath bar crunch out of my head...should be an easy decision.
Hevyn, set a doggy ice cream trap...heath bar crunch, cherry nibs topped with a caramel sauce...if my boy Ruff Man/Rufis (rip) were still here, he would be nodding in full agreement.
Fandy, while not "layin out" weather...a really nice day is heading east.
Away, good luck today...hope it exceeds your expectations!

Away...don't know the background story...but deep breaths and patience and tolerance are my new creed...that and of course Oz's Yoga poses....a sense of humor conquers all...just ask Zip!

My real [age] bday is tomorrow and the only kind of celebration I keep seeing is a male strep dancer.

but I might still find that one-big-nut in the Turtle Sundae ice cream (my fave next to Edy's once-a-year-Samoa specials) hard to swallow.

I'm happy to say that 'Miss Daisy' seems to be getting used to being driven around as she called me today for a ride to breakfast and the store and the bank. I feel so much more at ease knowing she's not driving herself any more.
No whines yet today as there's nothing to whine about... yet...

Hbeeee you are a whole week old than moi!
I am very pooped-out...but my shopping is finished and I sold over $100. worth of little piddley things at mama's...kind of like an indoor garage sale....much better than carting it off myself.
OT, I highly recommend the Homedics Shiatsu massage PILLOW with HEAT...it is a wonderful strong portable massager that turns off automatically....BBBeyond has the one that vibrates (shakes the peeee outta my kidneys, no thanks)...Wallyworld has the correct one, for $35.00...I loved mine so much (an impulse purchase from The Q), i ran out and bought one for my brother and SIL....you can move it to the exact sore spot and get a strong massage out of it....which is what I want...it's kind of difficult to ask the dog to massage my buttisimo...he doesn't do it right.
i am off to lay down and relax, i've been on the move all day and now it is RELAXING time!
