Rowan i'll be thinking of you today. Toronto highways scare the pants off me too. My sister lives there and you couldn't pay me to drive on those roads. I get anxiety driving the Deerfoot in Calgary when I have to pass a semi LOL.

My mom is coming over today to help me finish our driveway project and it's pouring rain. We'll see how far that goes.

I'm surprised I've never hit the 3 smilie limit before, I am a sucker for the smilies.

Well I'm back - counted the lanes of traffic - 6 in each direction! Thank goodness it was a Sunday morning so the traffic was much lighter than it could have been. Sponsor is home now with her family - I'm grateful that I can be a friend today.

Just had my tuna sammich (any more tuna, and you can call me Albacore) and I'm going to do some laundry, then work out. My body is fricking sore - but I ain't quitting.

I figured it out and have items posted, YAY. Spent time making little cards with the Acceptance Prayer on them and then laminating them. A few new people at my HG meeting asked about the prayer when I shared on it, so I will pass them out tomorrow night.

My son is finishing up his room meanwhile my family room looks like a tornado touched down. I'm not even going down there today, figured rather than lose my cool here I'll ignore it for a day or two and pray that he cleans that up too. I might finally have my familty room back. Will have to shampoo carpet first.

I just finished frying chicken cutlets making chicken parmigiana for dinner. I need to do some heming on my jeans, my daughter said no one hems jeans anymore, but I think I must have shrunk because they are too long and drag. I hate heming clothes. If it wouldn't look messy I would just cut them.

my daughter just texted me that on my sons facebook it says he is moving to Atlanta in a month

I don't have an account to look at what it says and he's not home for me to ask him. When was he gonna tell me, the day before? This kid really knocks my serenity off, let me tell you.

its cool to just cut them here and leave them all frayed. Your daughter is right no one hems now. you could bring them to a tailor and get them stitched back like jeans should look.

this is funny cause I did that with the third step prayer!! I give them to sponsees after we do the third step.

I vote for the cut and frayed look, too. I WISH I had pants that dragged - it's a miracle if something fits me AND is long enough.

2 for the cut and frayed, okay, guess that wins, ha ha, I didn't put up that much fight on that one. Years ago that's how I wore them, have been letting them drag lately and don't like the way it looks. So I guess, scissors here I come. snip snip.

me too! I think they really drag because I don't do real High heels anymore because of my back, so the change of shoes is part problem and I think I've been shrinking lately. Think I lost an inch what will become of me, I'll be known as Bee the sober shrinking woman ut oh,
