The Feelings thread Part 3
Feeling anxious cause dk was supposed to spend the weekend with her dad but has decided to stay home instead. I was looking forward to the peace and quiet but now will have to "detach" from her drama and ask God for the peace of mind and strength to deal with her this weekend.
A little lower from the decent day I had yesterday. Specifically a little more anxious. Going to pick up "The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook" tonight and work on it this weekend. Seems to be very highly reviewed.
Especially to those who are feeling a little (or a lot) down today...hang in there!

I feel really content tonight
Im new to recovery as was really going through it earlier, experiencing anger and sadness and projecting all over the place..but after spending the day with my sponsor and venting here (and getting some valuable insight and suggestions, thankyou) I feel happy that its passed and I made it in 1 piece!

Decided to go to church this morning with my mom. I need the company and the spirituality. And dinner after church with mom and brother is always nice. that will be my social activity for the day.
I'm sorry Henry.
I often think how hard it must have been for my loved ones too.
Try not to take it personally...I know I wasn't thinking too rationally anytime I relapsed.
I hope you stick around. You'll find a lot of support here
Welcome!
