OMG fizzy...i've been strugling with that and from meetings i've found out it is common....being sick seems to really bring out the drinking thinking....but yeah it's stupid lol
ok...still have snow on the ground here ... 2 weeks after the snow fall...but...can drive the roads...however i'm finding the van a real pain in the ass....
mom says use it for now and figure out if you really want it...i'm thinking not...just not sure that 3K will get a decent car and this van is well cared for ...just awkward to drive for me.
Fizzy...you sorta make me wonder if a kid might have been fun
enjoy the squirt and let your wife know you love her (grin)...

Ok, even more confused, either Chris was never under 11, you were too pished to remember Chris being under 11, you adopted Chris, or Aliens delivered him to you age 11 when nobody was looking.

OK OK you're right fizzy...His alien father deleivered him to me for mothering at the age of 11...Apparently that is the custom on their planet...take the child to the father at birth till 10 then send to the mom for the final rearing years....
unfortunately his father and I were on acid the night of conseption, so it took them an extra year to figure out who the mom was....I had surrendered him anonomously at the alien child drop off center...thus no records could be found
The confusion and josseling around and the different cultures sorta made Chris leary of reproduction in general....thus at 30 he has almost as many years of celbacy as me

So how does the not loving him till 11 actually work ........................
Was it the day of his 11th birthday you just decided or was he like 11 years and 3 months or somthing.
Did it just suddenly hit you or did you start liking him a wee bit age nine, then a wee bit more until he was 11.
Why 11, what did he do then, why not 10, heck why not wait till he was 12 to be sure.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!

I'm back from up north, its freezing and we've a fair bit of snow, football was off so wee lad didn't get to be mascot.
Think its a bottle of Coca cola Nands, couple of years ago there would have been vodka sneaked in it but thats all in the past.
