Living in Sobriety Part 2
Hi Knuckleheads. I'm just chillin' at home right now. It sure is nice to be home. I may not go to the river this weekend. Although I hate staying home alone. Not sure.
going to lunch with a sponsee today. Then meeting with a new sponsee. Then going to a meeting.
Life is good!
I hope you all have a blasting great day. BTW..........It is hot as HELL here. Heat index of 105 today.

I'm starting to have a meltdown, looking for jobs sending resumes left and right, called sponsee said she was sleeping, she didn't sound good and said she would call back (3 hrs ago), my stomach hurts, shall I go on....No I'm going to a meeting. Its progressing into a F**k my life kind of day.
I am here, Donna. Sorry you are having a bad day. Here is a quote for ya! lol
I slept!
As we go through the day we pause, when agitated
or doubtful, and ask for the right thought or action.
We constantly remind ourselves we are no longer
running the show, humbly saying to ourselves many times
each day “Thy will be done.” We are then in much less
danger of excitement, fear, anger, worry, self-pity, or foolish
decisions.

Thanks...I love that passage! Love it! Also love the part how we may make absurd
decisons (or something like that..but it's okay...)
My prayer each morning.. Upon awakening..direct my thinking..
Good to see you chipper today Stoney. And throwing the BB around.
Donna :ghug3:
Hope the meeting helps..it will. Hope you feel much better when you get back hun.
lol
