:ghug Thank you all. I'm trying to stay in the moment but feel overwhelmed with anxiety and a feeling of impending doom. Have to go out in the cold and ice for an appt and to pick up daughter's boyfriend - he's coming home with her and helping her clean her disaster area! He's quite a guy!

I know this will pass... but when??:wtf2 So glad I have family here to come to when feeling bad.

The last few days I've had terrible urges to get smashed and just 'get away' from reality. I won't do it, cause I know it would only make things worse, but the desire to just 'get away' from everything is so overwhelming.

I have buffalo bacon at home. My dad found a market that sells really nice buffalo meat. Lean like turkey but actually tastes like something.

so is it just going out in general, least, or having to go out/drive in the bad weather?

either way, you'll do fine. and the idiots will be here to greet you when you return.

buffalo bacon? but buffalos aren't pigs ...

Scoob send me some of that buffalo bacon to sample. I'm volunteering on behalf of all of Bottoms. A Queen must make sacrifices at times you know.

For some reason, it always SEEMed to be a good idea/reason to use when it was bad weather - hurricanes, blizzards you name it. Days that I really could have used all of my remaining wits about me.
I suppose breathing and having a day that ends with "Y" was a good enough reason for me.....
Im still a weather nut and snow REALLY does it to me. I still feel like a kid waiting for school to be cancelled.

Turns out - its not a good idea or exuse. For me anyway.

Any day was a reason. Just waking up was a reason .

Snow days suck ax around here. All the kids are home. Sort of like Christmas vacation (or Winter Break as we have to call it now).

Recooperating from another lapse of sanity called shoveling.
The dude I work with says when I get my liscense says I will be driving a truck for them and may be able to pay for the additional breathalizer for a work truck.

Alot to think about. The guy drinks ALOT among other things.
Hasnt really bothered me so far tho'.

NA tonight.

Has Mr GT calmed down yet ??
