Okay-It's Christmas Eve here and I haven't been around for days.I have 10 new profile messages, too many pm's and a few e mails and simply no time to reply to anyone in any great detail personally right now, so I'm posting here to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my favourite, lovable idiots and every one else who sometimes lurks here or checks on how I'm doing.I'm sorry i just dont have the time tonight to reply individually.
Your support of me this year has meant the world-even if I'm fairly quiet sometimes-I wouldn't manage being sober without you and I am so grateful to each and every one of you for your laughter and your understanding.You keep me going even when I'm not saying much.Thank you.
I know this is a hard time of year for most of us-but just know that here, at the bottom of this world of ours, is a woman who loves you dearly and thanks her God every day for each of you.I really do.
I'm doing a little better these days-and will be around more once Xmas is over(tomorrow for me)

Good morning groupies.
I had some anxiety last night. Laying in bed with my heart racing. I'm not sure what that is all about. Some of you may remember that I had weekly panic attacks the first year of my sobriety. Coming off huge amount of benzos will do that.
But I had not had a panic attack since the night the hurricane hit. I think it's pretty normal to have one then. I must be a little more stressed about being around family than I thought.
I feel better this morning. The only panic attacks I have ever had wake me up from a sleep.
I just needed to get that out.
Leaving today for Dallas. Will return tomorrow. I will have puter and iPhone with me so I will be available. Feel free to call or text me!

Tan, I'm sorry to hear about the panic attacks - that sucks ax. I think you're right and it's probably stress related due to the holidays and family. I'll be in touch via text to keep in touch.
Oh and guess what everybody? I got a Wii Fit this morning! WalMart got 5 in this morning and my gf and I each scooped one! I had to buy a Wii console to go with it lol so this is kind of an expensive Christmas! YIKES
Okay I gotta go downstairs to grab a coffee from the cafe.

I need to get ready for yoga. I didn't go last night... skipped meditation class too. I'm taking this one class, then keeping the store open for an hour in case anyone wanders in for a last minute yoga gift. Then I'm home making cookies all afternoon with the kids. My youngest want to make a lobster shaped cookie to leave for Santa. I have no idea why. He's :crazy.
