I've been sober...
My last hoopdi was my 'clown car'. I had the door handles on both driver's sides break off. Then the inside handles broke off, so I could never lock it, and had to get in the back seat and climb over into the driver's seat.
I'll never forget one day I went to Walmart in Wichita, and when I came back out, of course it dawned on me that it might seem a little strange to onlookers if a woman climbs into the back seat of a car and then over to the front seat!
That poor old thing finally went belly-up 120 miles from home when the valves went out. It was a big old Mercury Marquis!

the issue is the GF?
your beginning to scare me man, as far as I am concerned a car is a rolling box with wheels to transport me n my sound system from point A to point B
my car right now has 15 speakers...wait 13, I had to take the two cabinet speakers out to move
It's a hoopdi, but has a bomb sound system

Speaking of coffee - I've always had a laugh with the whole coffee thing and anxiety, especially at AA. People talk about their minds racing and how anxious they are....while sucking down cups of coffee. I've even asked a couple of people about this and they have this kind of "Huh?" reaction.
I guess it's like if someone had ADHD and is given a stimulant, it helps their focus. Don't know. I only drink a little if I'm really dragging, otherwise I'd be
Good wishes, Paul, on getting back to Spokane and hooking up.

I've got a '91 Subi wagon. It needs some brake work (warped rotor, sticking calipers), and of course it has oil leaks (they all do), but it starts and runs fine. I gassed it up good yesterday to ensure a few more trips.
Bingo!
Mine's not that extensive, but it hits hard enough to knock the fillings out of your teeth. I've got dual subs, but have one unhooked because my old ears can't handle it anymore, lol.

I had to put my sobriety in front of my girlfriend because every. single. time. I didn't, it back fired.
Sobriety makes me a better boyfriend, every time I "took care of her" instead of "taking care of me" something went wrong, and it was usually me.
that's just me ma brother from yet another mutha then freedom

Day 16. I don't really feel too great. Still don't like how the meds make me feel. Last night I did have the thought that it would be nice to drink a couple of beers and chemically change how I feel, but just ignored it the best I could. I wanted to go to a meeting, but didn't want to make the drive to Spokane (and back). Maybe I'll take a drive today.
Being straight is weird isn't it? I usually do some housework n stuff. It is kinda weird after being stoned/drunk since the age of 15. I like being able to remember stuff though.
