Alpine: my husband does have a lot of stories. So many ppl driving without seatbelts (?!). But *gratefully* there are no fireworks this weekend! No lacerations or missing fingers. Or worse.

Grateful:

-for a day of weeding (well more like dead-heading the rhododendrons with a little bit of weeding)
-for our landscaping crew who helps me tremendously as I do not own a lawn mower, and if I did I am too scared to mow the hills on our 0.78 acres
-for homemade pasta salad
-for the new Stephen King short story collection
-for a potential bike ride tomorrow
-for a hot bath in an hour to two
-my ZIIP microcurrent device
-freshly washed towels
-three pekes with full stomachs

Have a great night everyone.

I am grateful for the chance to get outdoors today, and attend a cool festival called the “Punk Rock Flea Market”

Grateful for peace and quiet

Grateful to enjoy my own company (while sober)

Holidays have to be hectic for Mr Peke. My sister and her daughter worked in a community hospital with a high grade burn unit. I worked at the same hospital too. Holidays and celebration days would get the place jumping.

I happy the world of nature is helping you Peke. Nature can get me grounded when too much is going on in my head. I love being out on or near the shore/beach and just look at the water and feel a sense of wonder. KOKO fine woman!

As for me I'm up late in the night after a big time nap at noon. Cat woke me up quarter to 8 pm. I thought it was morning time, made my coffee and looked for the morning news to watch. Wrong-o, Is what it is, I have no schedule to march to witch leads into my...

Alpine, sounds like my wife and I, we get a rare day together once in awhile. I'm glad you were able to spend that time with Mr. A.

Grateful for pesto potatoes for breakfast.
Grateful it's cool enough to open the doors this morning, for a peaceful night of sleep, and our dog who is extra cuddly because my wife is away at her daughter's.
Grateful for my morning vitamins and heart meds, hey gotta be grateful if it's helping my health.
Grateful I've got some extra work this morning and I'll get to know the maintenance man at the theater a bit better.

Grateful to see lots of birds, a beaver, and a few snakes..or as I call them..nope ropes..One was pretty big and was rapped around a tree branch over the water

Alpine that canoeing sounds lovely but the Nope Ropes not so much. I actually don't mind snakes as much as spiders.

I have been with my family for a high school graduation so not checking in so much.

I'm grateful for
- my graduating nephew
- my sisters traveling a long way to be here
- lovely spring weather (escaping the spring snow storms at home)
- watching mass with Dad on TV

May all be well

Astro, grateful that you make time to help your brother. Sending good thoughts and vibes your way.
Grateful for a drama free day, although the sister I don't speak to is coming over tomorrow. Oh well. Thankfully she doesn't come over often.
Grateful for my sobriety and all my blessings.
Grateful for all of you.
Have a wonderful evening. Pleasant dreams.

Hi Zen and everyone!
Clean towels are the best Alpine. Honestly it’s such a warm and comforting feeling.
Grateful:
-for a break in the rain- a few of the guys and I got out for 21 mile bike ride
-for writing a draft letter to my primary care doctor about getting a cystoscopy
-for the new Stephen King collection of short stories
- for James: A Novel (appeal at surprise finalist that I can’t wait to read)
-Ranger beat FL in OT

I have quite a few favorite authors Peke, and Stephen King is high on my list.

Grateful for a short concert last night, and an easy position working VIP entry. I think I've gotten so used to working the dressing rooms that I forgot how nice a change of scenery is.
Grateful to learn some new things about the theater yesterday, had no idea the pit dropped down into the floor to a hidden storage area, and also raises up to extend the stage.
Grateful to have breakfast with all the step-grandkids and parents yesterday, and my quinoa power breakfast bowl was awesome.
Grateful my wife's car is fixed, not grateful for the bill, but hey we both need transportation.

Astro SK has a new collection of short stories that recently came out.
Very excited for this. The book “James” was a Pulitzer Prize nominated book. Sorry for the typo I was dictating.

Grateful
-for my NodPod
-that my husband made it through an intense shift
-that I can open most jars and lids on my own
-for frozen pizza
-for SR

Thank you for the info Peke! It's amazing how that guy can write, so many novels over his storied career. One of my favorites is The ******** that he co-wrote with Peter Straub, I had heard there was going to be a movie adaptation but I think it fell through.

Grateful for books which keep our minds engaged and our thoughts roaming.
Grateful for a little mechanical ability, got the oil changed on my truck, air pressure topped off on all tires, and new wiper blades installed.
Grateful to get the sheets washed and the lawn mowed.
Grateful for a little more sofa time, I don't watch much TV but sometimes like the entertainment.

Grateful for a mostly drama free day, except for getting kind of steamed at my pharmacist and having to wait 2 hours to get my scripts. Oh well. I knew that was going to happen, so I just got through it.
Astro, sending thoughts and prayers to you and your brother. I love reading your interesting posts!
Hi to all of you!
Grateful for allergy medicine.
Grateful for a call from my sister, I have to call her back.
Grateful for all of you so very much.
Have a wonderful evening and pleasant dreams to all.

-the rain finally stopping
-husband only has an eight hour shift tonight
-for morning coffee
-for the ability to watch the Rangers game in bed on my iPad…I’m pooped.
