- getting up and out early

-palo verde trees (I have always read this phrase as "green stick" and never knew it was an actual type of tree)

Grateful we finally got home, after sitting on the plane for 45 minutes after it landed, and delays in getting our luggage. It's good to be back.
Grateful that my sleep pattern will eventually return to normal, but I didn't get any this morning and I'm back to work.
Grateful for so many great memories, the best gifts I can bring back from a trip.
