Grateful to feel happy this morning. I must remember that I always feel good the day after I hike or go for a long walk.

Grateful for predicted rain this week. We need it!
Thank you, Mags. I'm so grateful that my sister and I can hang out sometimes now and get along. I've missed her.
Love and peace to all. Have a wonderful day.

Sunpengwn - Nice that you found so many shells! I have a little shell story. My Dad & I used to always look for Conch shells (found out they're actually 'whelks') at the Jersey Shore. Only found a few over the years. The summer after my father died - we went to the same place we always went - since he had rented a cottage & made us promise we'd go even without him. The first day of our vacation I was walking along the beach - and there were a couple of 'our' shells lying there in perfect condition. I waded into the water and there must have been dozens more rolling in. I looked up and said, 'Did you send these, Daddy?' It was surreal.
Grateful to be sober & sane today - no awful hangover, regret, or guilt.
Grateful for a nice chat with a neighbor - since moving here we're all masked up & haven't talked much. Getting vaccinated has brought some relief.
Grateful for SR, this thread, & all the hope I've found since joining.

Daisy, hoping your friends surgery goes well
Hev, so nice to fit into old clothes. I have some old ones that I am so afraid to try on. Lol
Aly, thank you 😊
Grateful to be back after missing a couple morning days
Grateful Charlie didn’t wander too far in the front yard. He’s mostly indoor. Snuck out the sliding door to the backyard and climbed over the gate
Grateful so far today is better than yesterday
Grateful that actually even though there was a bad moment yesterday, it was short lived and I have to remember all the positive parts of the day. There were way more positive things.
Grateful to not let my thoughts race ahead of me
Grateful simple love and compassion can change a lot situations that start out bad
Grateful I’m all caught up with work for today and have some time to work ahead in a certification course
Grateful for an exercise equipment at home
Grateful for each of you

Hev, that is beautiful! I am having some moments like that with my Dad. They have their way of speaking to us and making their presence known ❤️ 😊

Grateful for Hev's story about the shells - so cool!
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for a cool moment when I was driving with my older son last night. We were listening to "Don't Go Away" by Oasis and a fireworks show started out of nowhere. I just felt so thankful to be with him, out doing stuff, and able to drive wherever and whenever because I don't drink anymore.
Grateful for my awesome friends.
Grateful to keep reminding myself that I need to do a good job which represents my best efforts, in all things. I don't have to please everyone or kill myself with unattainable standards.
Grateful to be in a better place than I was a year ago, Covid and all.
Grateful to be sober.

Hevyn... I really enjoyed that story of your Dad... It made me think of my own Dad..but he never walked with me on the beach...as there were 2 boy and 2 girls all a year apart.... but we did have some fun enjoying moments with our Dad as he was a Cop here in Monterey California.... & Grandpas house was 2 blocks up the hill from the Police dept........

Grateful to walk on the beach today and find those shells....
Grateful for the coffee ...
Grateful for memories of my Dad....
Grateful for memories of my Grandparents on both sides....

Grateful for my treasured & carefully guarded sobriety.
Grateful to be heading out to the grocery store...I'm becoming too comfortable just staying home.
Grateful to have a minute to say - I am grateful for you all!

I have to say I’m sorry for typos and grammatical errors. I need to go back and edit
Palmersage, what a special moment 😊
Numblady, how nice to give. I have not heard of the little free pantry. I imagine it’s a spin off of the little free library? I love the idea. My friend started a little free art box in her hood and it’s taking off. I have been thinking about doing something similar. Your post reminded me to research supplies I’ll need to get. They have kits on Amazon
Grateful to have memories of my dad when I run. He was a runner. I’m a runner. I feel like he is still with me in the wind cheering me on 😊
Grateful I got my bonus check today. Grateful I’m also getting my raise next paycheck. Because of the pandemic, I expected nothing at all this year. After Mr F got laid off, I was worried I could be next. But the business I’m in has boomed. Grateful to be considered “essential”
Grateful for my little cog (aka cat/dog), Daisy, curled up next to me. Speaking of Daisy, thinking of our Daisy here, and her friend.
Grateful to make a lot of progress on my art project last night. I might finish this week
Grateful to be able to help a friend today and take her kids to and from school. It is tough for many parents working outside the home with kids in hybrid school right smack in the middle of the day for only two hours. Grateful Mr F and I can help
Grateful for all the schools returning to in person learning even if it’s still part time

Grateful the Bewick's wren visited the yard this morning, such a treat.
Grateful for the walk we took with grandbaby in the stroller yesterday, everybody bundled up and baby blowing raspberries the whole time.
Grateful for the thoughts and feelings that all your grat posts inspire in me ... like reminders to be generous and give from the abundance I have, but also not exhaust myself by giving too much or trying to please or be perfect.
Grateful to have work and also grateful it will be slowing down a bit soon.
Grateful for rainshowers today.

Grateful I was able to take my mom to get her car serviced and drive her home. Just a regular car service, which my poor car needs badly too. I have to make an appt very soon. I'll take her back later this afternoon to pick it up.
Grateful for the lovely posts. Seeing all of you makes my day!
Mags, I am going to try to get to the post office this week. I haven't forgotten, just hard to get my regular things done. The pandemic has gotten me all off track, but grateful we are healthy and my mom is fully vaccinated and I'm half vaccinated, the other half on March 19th, the day before my birthday. We have quite a few March bdays in my family. My sisters and I were all born on the 20th of different months. Such and easy way to remember their birthdays! I will be grateful to be fully vaccinated on my bday.
Thank you Least and Fearless for the nice messages. So grateful for friendships made over the years on these threads and to find a nice message waiting for me some days.
Like Lyddie, I am also grateful to be with you all today!
Love and peace and have a wonderful day.
