Grateful for the rain as we really need it since California is sooooo dry......
Grateful for the early morning walk in the rain as I just skipped through the rain drops....
Grateful for the coffee I just got..... keeps my fingers warm....

Grateful that Daisy's house is safe from flooding!
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for slow Saturday mornings.
Grateful that my time in the office yesterday energized and focused me.
Grateful to meet with a staff person who has a great attitude and wants to learn.
Grateful that I don't have to please everyone. Very grateful that not everyone has to like me.
Grateful that my sons seem to be in a good place right now.
Grateful I have a book coming on college admissions - a lot has changed since the 1800s when I applied to undergrad.
Grateful to be sober, and to have the whole world open to me. Grateful for the peace and power that sobriety brings.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for slow Saturday mornings.
Grateful that my time in the office yesterday energized and focused me.

Grateful to stop in quick to say Hi. Busy day. Up early to finish making the sourdough bread I am bringing as a gift for a friend today. Grateful we are going for a mountain bike ride and then will probably reward ourselves with some bread 😊

Grateful for a beautiful morning after our much-needed California rain.
Grateful for Juncos and White-crowned sparrows in the yard this morning, feathers puffed against the chill.
Grateful for PalmerSage saying "Grateful that I don't have to please everyone. Very grateful that not everyone has to like me." -- I needed to hear that today.
Grateful my little grandson has started sleeping through the night so our kids can get some much-needed rest.
Grateful for a good night's sleep for me.
Grateful for sober friends here.

Grateful to feel rested, peaceful and looking forward to being productive today. I had surgery in mid December, recovery was longer and more difficult than I anticipated and am finally getting my energy back. So grateful to feel more normal.
And yes! Very grateful for the rain here in California with more rain on the way.

I too am grateful for the rain we've had off and on this week. A big rain storm is coming in tonight or tomorrow. Grateful for rain, in the drought of CA. Although the storms make things so hard to get around, I am grateful for the rain.

Grateful for a peaceful Sunday morning.
Grateful that the weather is dry at the moment, though it's cold at -3 and very frosty.
Grateful to be safe and well.
Grateful like Mags to feed and watch the birds, I think Lulu cat quite appreciates watching them too, she thinks they are like meals on wheels.
Grateful to have slept well again last night, I must be on a roll.
Grateful I don't need to leave the house today.
Grateful my daughter had a lovely lockdown birthday yesterday, she and her other half took the 2 children to a remote hilly field with their plastic sledges and they had a wonderful time. I don't know what the owner of the golf course will think about them thinking it was a remote field though if he finds out. I'm serious here lol.
Grateful Lyddie is on the mend after her surgery. Take good care of yourself Lyddie.

Grateful for coffee!
Grateful for the coffee mugs I ordered online, which I paid way too much for, but which make me happy.
Grateful to live in an age where things can just be delivered quickly from anywhere.
Grateful for House of Cards.
Grateful that there is so much help out there for the college application process.
Grateful that there's no such thing as a perfect decision.
Grateful I had a really productive day of cleaning and organizing yesterday.
Grateful that my older son will start driving lessons tomorrow.
Grateful that I am a better parent since getting sober.
Grateful for this thread.

Grateful the French onion soup I made turned out pretty ok.
Grateful Lyddie is recovering from surgery.
Grateful to see Aly among all the rest of you wonderful souls.
Grateful to Daisy for sharing about the floods there and the emergency crews. Grateful to them, and hoping they feel relief very soon.
Grateful the kids can go back to school this week. I have a much more manageable job now but as it turns out, few jobs are manageable when you have 30+ interruptions in the morning alone.
Grateful for all of you.
