Aly the Scottish highlands are truly breathtaking. I've travelled pretty extensively but my first time in the highlands really took my breath away. It felt like a whole other country and I now see why there were so many American and tourists from the far east and Australia there too. Well worth a visit 😀

Grateful to be home safely and in bed.
Grateful to have had a long luxurious bath after several nights of communal shower blocks 🤔 we've had great fun but give me a hotel anyday 😂
Grateful to see the view as I drove home.
Grateful for my home and family.
grateful for all of you x

Grateful to be selected for volunteer to help at a school athletic's event and to watch my live in g.son doing a long distance run (my dad was a runner and he would be soooo proud of him), the long jump and shot putting.
Grateful to be able to give a few boys a lift back to school after the event.
Grateful to find time to post tonight ( I didn't get chance this morning.)
Grateful for my beautiful white and speckled pink orchid, it's stunning.
Grateful for a text message from the vet asking me to call in with Lulu cat for a health check.
Grateful for a relaxing bath.

Grateful that a long day is coming to an end, sober. Grateful for my mother, but I have to really have clear boundaries and she can make me crazy like no one else, except maybe my sisters.
Grateful to have a visit with my doctor which wasn't as productive as I was hoping.
Grateful for trying to shake off this mood I'm in.
So grateful for all of you. You make me feel better when things aren't going so well! Have a wonderful evening all. ♥♥♥

Grateful RAL is home safe
The volunteer opportunity sounds wonderful Daisy. Btw, my dad was a runner too! He inspired me to run also. Unfortunately, he went overboard and used it kind of like a drug and escape, ran one too many marathons and destroyed both his knees.
Aly, glad you are keeping up the boundaries. Sorry, the appointment was not what you expected. Keep being proactive about your health. It’s all any of us can do. Xo. This too shall pass ...

Grateful for a productive day and some successful outcomes with work
Grateful to work from home
Grateful for icy hot. Back is sore from yard work
Grateful for a hot bath
Grateful for nice sunsets lately
Grateful to see a deer family followed by a quail family crossing the street.
Grateful for neuroplasticity, how we can change our brain chemistry by changing habits
Grateful for self reflection
Grateful for each of you!

Grateful that it's Friday (not really but I don't have to work tomorrow) and I've got the 4th to do another renovation project and BBQ.

Grateful that the power was restored downtown after a tragic explosion that killed an electrical worker.

I'm sorry that your Doctors appointment wasn't as productive as you hoped Aly. I hope you made the most of your time alone and got the rest you needed.

You totally confused me for a minute Astro with the Friday thing, lol. It doesn't take much to confuse me.

Ral, I didn't realise you are in the U.K too, we are very lucky to have our National Health Service and the free prescriptions, lets hope it stays that way.

Hello Kamm, good to have you with us.

Grateful for another sober Wednesday night.
Grateful for a beautiful sunny day.
Grateful to take some more 'stuff' to the charity shop, slowly but surely I'm decluttering.
Grateful to watch my live in G.son in a school play this evening. The play was 'Olivia' and he was Dr Watson, he looked so funny in his bowler hat and false moustache. He was disappointed because daddy didn't show up as promised, but nothing new there, he rarely turns up for any of his school events.
Grateful to keep to my boundaries and not start a texting war with him, I'm keeping a healthy distance.
Grateful for a relaxing bath.
Grateful to have a comfy bed to go to.
Grateful to be on this journey with you lovely people.

Grateful to be thinking about vacation next week
Grateful for my home, my family and my health
Grateful for each of you

Happy Independence day to all of you in the USA My very first overseas trip was when I was 13 and we went to Washington DC -we were there on 4th July and watched the fireworks at the Potomac. quite an amazing memory even now 30 plus years later

Hi Daisy, yes in the Uk. Originally from very near you but live in Scotland now.

Grateful to have sorted some work issues out
Grateful to have seen my doc and sorted out my meds instead of trying to struggle on
Grateful to have been able to switch off today
Grateful to realise I really don't have to keep feeling so down but can do something about it
Grateful to have eaten healthily today

Grateful to finally get a break to check in before guests arrive
Grateful to watch son march in the parade and march with the group also
Grateful for our freedom and independence
Grateful that despite a couple people begging me to have a Bloody Mary at 9 am, I had no desire and just said really, no thanks, I’m good.
Grateful that I don’t feel for a second that I’m missing out on anything by not drinking
Grateful that no matter where we all are around the world, we celebrate our freedom from addiction and alcoholism too. Grateful for all of you and to be going through this sober journey together

Happy 4th July to all of my friends 'over the pond.'

I've never been to Scotland RAL but it's on my bucket list. I'm glad you got your meds sorted and I hope you feel better very soon. xx

Grateful to be going to bed sober again tonight.
Grateful for my family who live in the computer.
Grateful that the knickers I left in the leg of my jeans last night were up by my calf and not dangling out of the hem when I went shopping this morning Can't believe I did that, lol.
Grateful to be thinking about things rather than just go steaming in.
Grateful my hospital gastro appt has come through for 25th of this month and it's first thing in the morning.
Grateful Lulu cat is in for the night.
Grateful I've lost 3.5lbs this week even though I'm the worlds biggest yoyo dieter and will probably put half of it back on by next week.
Grateful to each of you for your kindness and support. xx
