Pondlady, I have a soft cotton nightgown too that I just love.
Grateful for an interesting shift at ARF. I feel like I make a bunch of friends. A lot of people came in to talk to me and one girl, with pink hair, brought me some cold water. Totally nice people. I left so much unfolded laundry for tomorrow. Oh well. I was by my self and you can only do what you can do, esp when a bunch of friends come in to talk and one with an adorable pit bull, named Abby. Very nice dog. I did manage to wash and disinfect almost every dish and toy there. I just feel a little guilty about leaving so much unfolded laundry.
Grateful for a big cool down in temps. I hope it lasts.
Grateful for all of you. Peace and love to anyone suffering or struggling tonight♥♥♥ All my love to our bedtime grat packers.!

Grateful for the charity work, Astro. I hope you get your mountain escape
Least, a huge congrats to you! I’m so glad to know you!
Aly, so glad you are enjoying your volunteering and meeting great people. Connections are so important
Grateful to move on from negative feelings and laugh a little. I really was thinking I had made a new friend, the mom of one of my son’s friends from school. They’ve been buds for a few years, and our families spent a lot of time together last year and this summer at scout events, camping, bbqs, etc. My husband and I decided to invite them on a ski trip this winter. Ever since then, two weeks ago, no response and now her son is ignoring my son and has become bffs with another boy, who’s mom is also a friend and her son and my son used to be bffs. It’s all kinda weird and awkward but now I think it’s a little funny and silly too, kinda like in a Seinfeld episode way. Grateful there’s other friends to invite skiing, and even if it’s just my little family, it will be a blast! In fact, I think I prefer the latter. Less drama.
Grateful for a small circle of friends
Grateful two of my closest friends don’t drink. One is 12 years sober. The other never drank because her dad was an alcoholic. I’m seeing one tomorrow night. Our families are having dinner. She’s the one with the autistic son, and her other son has high functioning Aspergers like my son. I get to see the other friend next week when I go to Chicago for work.
Grateful so much for each of you and for always being here. Love the grat packers!

Fearless, I'm so grateful we can detach from drama and just move on without the negative in our life!

Grateful to be up when I should be sleeping, ready to hit the road for a little adventure.

Fearless, good thing you found out about them now! An entire ski trip probably would have been ghastly! It does sound like a Seinfeld episode. So glad we are learning to rise above it and move on! Good for you, my friend. ♥♥♥

Fearless, the parents are really setting a good example to their child. I agree, life is better without all the drama.

Least congratulations on nine years and eight months sober! WOW! (A bit belatedly).

I’ve come here early this evening because I keep falling asleep, which is a good thing, but before I’ve wrote my gratitude list.

Grateful for all of you ’s
Grateful I’m sober
Grateful I found SR, which helped keep me sober.
Grateful I’m not outside in the blustery winds. (I hope Daisy is ok on her holiday in Wales)

Hello my lovelies, I hope you are all well, I've missed you all so much. I'm home now and all is good, it's late and I'm very tired so I'll just do a quick post. I've so much to read and catch up on. xx

Grateful to be home safe and sound.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful to log on to a lovely message from a very lovely person here. xxx
Grateful to have made some wonderful happy memories with the g.kiddo's.
Grateful that whilst I was away I reached 16 months sober.
Grateful that though my wayward son is up to his old tricks I haven't let him 'trigger' me.
Grateful to see my Lulu cat again.
Grateful my husband remembered to water my hanging baskets.
Grateful that Least got 9 yrs and 8 months, she is a massive inspiration to me.
Grateful Fearless can rise above those silly people who have done her a favour by not going skiing with her family. Their loss.
Grateful to Mags for thinking about me ( we were lucky with the weather).
Grateful Aly is meeting some kind people during her work at the ARF.
Grateful to read your posts tonight.
Grateful to be back here with you all. xxx

Thank you all for your kind words! I couldn’t agree more and I feel better today. I had a talk with son about this. He had gotten excited since the family had verbally committed then went crickets. We discussed the importance of at least acknowledging people and how to communicate and not just leave people hanging. It’s about communication and honesty. He handled it well.
Glad you could get your hair done, Aly. It occurred to me as I was fixing mine tonight that it has thinned out a little. Ugh. Hormones. I’ll have to research some options if it starts falling out. For now it’s not too bad but I might just go a little shorter
Glad to see you back, Daisy and that you had a good time. Missed you. Congrats on your milestone!
Glad Billie did a Lawrence welk

Grateful to be on the way to friends for dinner with my nondrinking friend and two normie hubbies
Grateful for each of you!

Grateful for Fearless and her husband's thoughtful and compassionate parenting.♥
Grateful for dark chocolate and fudge, which I do not need right now.
Grateful to be volunteering at ARF. I really, really like it there, and am meeting some really interesting people. Abby the pit bull hung out with me for part of my laundry shift. She was a perfect lady. How awesome is that? ♥
Grateful I got my nap in and my hair done. Grateful for the ARF thrift store. My sister and I may go over and shop. She is a professional shopper! I can't keep up with her, but she finds good stuff. I bought a watch with a rubber band and it makes me feel claustrophobic. So I want a new one.
Grateful for all of you right now, this minute. We never know.♥♥♥ All my love.

Grateful I fertilized all my hanging baskets and planters, it's a chore towards the end of summer.

Welcome home DB and congrats to least on 9 years 8 months
