Astro I love that you're playing your old electric vintage, that's just wonderful. My grandson is 9 and his class did a guitar assembly last week. They have an amazing semi famous young man who voluntarily gives his time to teach them guitar once per week in school, he's been doing it for about 2 years and it's very appreciated.

Tatsy, I'm proud of you for your honesty and for coming back. I know how hard it is after relapsing, been there, done that and more than once. I'm glad you're here.

Least I love what you said too, that we can always come back here. It's a good place to come back to.

Grateful for a sober Saturday night with no drama.
Grateful for a quiet life.
Grateful to make a chicken stir fry for dinner.
Grateful to be able to mend the hole in my g.daughter's mermaid blanket.
Grateful for the entertainment my little Lulu cat gives me.
Grateful to have a comfy bed to sleep in.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xx

Grateful I slept all morning. I must have needed it.
Grateful to have taken Luke to the vet today to get his one of two booster flu shots. I have to order some more medicine for him. He got his bloodwork taken and a urine sample. I hope these all come out great!
Have a wonderful eve all! Between my doctor's appt and Lukes and all the groups and volunteering I'm doing, maybe I bit off a little more than I can chew. I hope not, but I am finding myself in pain and being very fatigued more often than not. Well, I'll have to think about this. It could just be the mood I'm in likely due to the heat we as many of you are, experiencing. Take care all my lovelies. Love and Peace to all xxoo ♥♥♥

Grateful that I was able to go to the pub with women friends tonight and not even tiniest alcohol craving
Grateful that my drinking friends no longer take any notice of whether I am drinking or not drinking. It is a non-issue.

Personally I'm a "vintage" '64 but my guitar is an '81 Fender Lead 1, I bought it that year and although I gave up playing to pursue alcoholism it's the only 1 of 3 I held onto for nostalgic reasons, I'm thrilled to play it again. The YouTube lessons I use are from Andy Guitar from the UK, he's got a great personality and I like the way he presents his lessons with so much enthusiasm.

I'm grateful to make music, even if it sounds horrible right now!

Grateful that I finally realized it's time to step down, walk away, and let someone else take the reigns.

I have found that to be a liberating feeling, Astro!
Hope your headache has gone away, Aly!
Grateful to be exhausted and going to be early tonight
Grateful for Annie Grace
Grateful for bits of wisdom I pick up from this site. Long ago, someone posted that a trigger is when they get wrapped up in drama or taking on someone else’s baggage and one of the things they ask themselves is “is this for me?” I find asking myself this question helps me too. Why get caught up in someone else’s issue?
Grateful to not engage in a political debate with a friend who has changed her views. Grateful to respect differences of opinion, then change the subject to one of the many things we have in common.
Grateful the weather is cooler today
Grateful when the patio blew down in the heavy wind, nothing was damaged
Grateful my little cat Daisy is better, eating regularly again and only a few more days left of the dreaded ear medication.
Grateful for each one of you!

Grateful that my eldest daughter's family adopted their first cat today! She is black and shiny and looks very comfy on their sofa. Eldest kid was raised with lots of cats but hadn't had any since moving out to go to college 25 yrs ago. Now they've got four sons and a little girl cat. Grateful for my new grandkitty.
