Grateful for another sober Sunday night.
Grateful for beautiful spring weather.
Grateful to be productive and get some work done in the garden.
Grateful I phoned my mum, she has a bad back and is full of a streaming cold.
Grateful to see my husband and my g.son playing computer games together.
Grateful to watch my little cat prancing round the garden, chasing insects without success.
Grateful to be going to bed very tired, at least Grandad has found his name written in stone. xxxxxx

Grateful for a beautiful Sunday, lots of church and fellowshipping, and tidied up the backyard nicely.

Laughing my head off here, I must explain about last night's post. I was exhausted as I was typing and nodded off, waking up with a jump as I dropped the lap top off my knee with a clatter. I just picked it up, turned it off and went to bed. That last bit ' at least granddad has found his name in stone' well I haven't a clue where that came from lol! I couldn't believe my eyes when I just read it. Please ignore.

Grateful to be sober tonight, I'm always grateful for that.
Grateful for a sense of humour.
Grateful my daughter's mum in law, who's also my bestie had the children today.
Grateful my mums cold is a bit better today.
Grateful to do a bit more work in the garden.
Grateful to you all for your never ending support. xx

Daisy, lol. I know when I've been about to nod off, I've said all kinds of "interesting" things.
Grateful for a nice walk with Luke. Grateful for good dog walking weather this late afternoon.
Grateful I am sober.
Grateful for all of you and for sharing your grats! ♥♥♥

Grateful to be alive!
Grateful to be back here checking in. I had no service last couple days
Grateful for a backpacking trip with my son and his scout den. Grateful my husband day hiked in with us and carried gear for as long as he could. He could not stay the night because he had work today. Grateful we all knew when it was time to listen to our instincts and turn back without hiking all the way to the falls. The tide was too high and we would have been trapped if we had gone the whole way. Grateful for the life lessons this trip taught my son (and reminded me), including how we can do hard things in life (physically and mentally), and the importance of gratitude for everything we have.
Grateful for a hot shower and epsom salt bath and to be going to bed early

Daisy, lol Grateful I'm not the only one to do something like that.

Grateful for four, count 'em, four dog walks today. I always feel recharged after a dog walk.

Grateful my mom is helping me pay for my new glasses, they are so expensive!!
Grateful for the serenity prayer (Daisy helped me remember this), which helped me get through and argument with my hopefully still newly sober sister. She's not taking responsibility for much of anything and even though she has a fatty liver not working a program. I hope she makes it.
Grateful for my precious sobriety and my relatively good health.
Grateful for every one here and your wonderful support and grats! ♥♥♥

I'm glad the serenity prayer helped Aly, I don't think that there's a day goes by without I have to use it. I use the 'sick man' prayer too when I'm dealing with my son, it helps, I hope you don't need to use it with your sister, but just in case...

WaterOx, 3 months is fabulous, keep on doing what you're doing.

Grateful to be ending another day sober.
Grateful for another beautiful spring day.
Grateful to get some more work done in the garden.
Grateful that buying some new school shoes for my little g.son was painless, he liked the first pair he tried on, they fitted him and were comfy and they were 20% in the sale. Bonus.
Grateful my g.daughter is sleeping over tonight too, she is only 5 mths older than my g.son ( 9) and they have a love/hate relationship. Tonight they love each other.
Grateful my my mum enjoyed her choir practice.
Grateful for the pleasure my little cat brings me.
Grateful Fearless and her son stayed safe on the hiking trip.
Grateful Least and Billie got 4 ( wow) walks in.
Grateful for this thread and all the lovely people who post here. xx

Grateful that Billie never complains about her food - how much she gets, or the fact that she eats the same food twice a day, every day.
