Morning Gratitude ~ Part 55
Hi everyone. I want to join the fun. I used to keep a gratitude journal, but I have drifted away from it recently. I know how helpful gratitude can be! So today, I am grateful for this forum. And I am very grateful to be sober today.

Grateful to find my way back here after a long absence. Gratitude is so powerful, esp during the challenging times in our life!
Grateful for having accomplished so much during this last year: sold my house and moved(something I never thought I could do on my own!), let go of toxic relationships that were no longer serving me or my family; really feels like a fresh start!
Grateful for this time in my life to pause and reevaluate who I am and where my life is headed.
Grateful my RAD is finding her way and hanging on even through the difficult times. Grateful I'm learning how to let go, loving her often from a distance now; letting her become the person she was meant to be.
Grateful for the wonderful hiking groups I discovered in our city. Looking forward to a river valley hike this afternoon!

Grateful it was only a dream!! Grateful I did not really decide to drink last night and that I have the day off so I can relax and use my journal to examine the frightening thinking in that dream and then move on for another beautiful day of sobriety!

Grateful for the blessing that grtgrandpa is in our lives.
Grateful beyond words for my sobriety. I walked away from a high speed crash yesterday with not a scratch on me, I have no doubt that my sobriety contributed to the balance in my reaction.
