I get drunk we stay sober
Grateful for the AA meeting that I attended this morning at 7 am on the 10th step, and the love and tears for our departed friend.
We have 19 meetings per week in my home group, and there is a lot of long term sobriety.
Jim's funeral will be next Wednesday at 11 am, and we know how to celebrate the passing of one of ours.
There will be tears and hugs and kisses and joy for the sober life we shared with Jim cause there was a lot of that at the meeting this morning.
And the food will be incredible because Jim told me when we talked about it during our walks, "I told the kids not to count". He also told me that he was ready when it is time, and God rewarded him with a quick and peaceful passing.
I thank everyone on SR for your condolences.

What A Difference A Day Makes...
Grateful for the full tilt fun at the Dog Park yesterday. No Pit Bulls. Only Dog Buddies. This is the clearest Pic I got, due to them being in constant motion. All were had by a good time. AddictGuy IDs the dynamic I saw yesterday in his Post #69 above. Instant, unforeseen Dog Rage at close quarters. Formidable.
Grateful for a decent Schnooze. Some weird Dream about having to laboriously change my Cellphone number, but it was kinda funny. No Drinking involved, FWIW. Just way too long of a Dream.
Grateful for my Honey sharing this one with me this morning, off her iPhone. An 'Epic Fail' set of Valentine Greetings:

Grateful to get out of bed when I have finished sleeping, and come here to get so much love and understanding from people just like me ((((((((MarcherandVee)))))))).
Grateful to be able to go back to bed when I get sleepy, and not disturb my gorgeous partner.

Grtgrandpa, hope you were able to sleep well when you got back to bed!

Gramps, sorry to hear about your friend, but so grateful that you were there for him and are here for us.
