It is Groundhog Day, and I will be watching the movie starring Bill Murray cause I watch it every year on this date. :)

My gorgeous partner is going out for lunch with the girls, and I am staying home with diet root beer, turkey and swiss sandwich, sweet potato fries, butter pecan ice cream and lots of sober laughs from this old man in his easy chair with a lot of rain outside. :a122:

Grateful for coffee first thing in the morning.

Grateful to be safe and warm.

Grateful that I was able to dig my car out of the snow this morning.

Grateful for another day sober.

Grateful for light.

grateful for a new week of snowy adventures

Grateful that the ice and sleet can't get to me where it matters.
Grateful that I was able to do half of the right things on my list yesterday.
Grateful to look at the good half.

Grateful for a house to clean. ;)
Grateful the snow wasn't enough for a snow day. So i can gain on cleaning the house!
Grateful foaudiobooks to occupy my ever going mind.

Grateful to be sober 11 months today.

Grateful for all the support and kindness from this group. I don't think I could have done it without you. Pretty sure....

I woke up without a headache, or the need for hydration. I went to a Super Bowl party last night at my brother's house where there were tons of drinking going on, but not me. I stayed clear. :)

Grateful to pull out of a funk. Grief can overwhelm at times. Still takes me by surprise.

Grateful for high Clouds and decent Weather w/o Precip.

Grateful that the idea of Homemade Sushi for Brunch popped into my Head. Avocado/Fake Crab/Scallion Rolls on tap once the Rice is done.

Grateful for the reminder from the Pooch on just how to ease into a Monday. Retrievers retrieve Pillows. Good smells, apparently.

Grateful that there's Music around to help ease us out of Funks by.-) Been there. Felt that. 2 Sets of Parents. Close Friends. Former Students of my Teacher Wife's. 3 prior Golden Retrievers. Hope springs eternal.
