Grateful for a beautiful new day.
Grateful even though my kids were up super late they got up ans on the bus with little fuss.
Grateful for more time with friends.
Grateful I stayed sober yesterday so I have no hangover and anxiety today and can enjoy the day to its fullest.

Grateful I "took a beat" before replying to a contentious issue regarding my condo Board. As Friends & Family say, "Don't just do something, stand there."
Bad news is I can't fix everything. Good news is I can't fix everything. It can always wait until I figure out which applies.
Grateful for the soft head of my cat in the middle of the night.

I'm grateful I made it to the methadone clinic despite the snow (it's an hour and a half drive each way in GOOD weather).
I'm grateful I've made it 5 weeks with NO slip ups. No heroin, no meth, no benzos. No inbetween.

But Rusty I googled this and it said ....
scoosh. To pull an unsuspecting persons trousers down to their ankles in front of an audience. "scoooosh!" is then shouted by everyone witnessing the event.
Grateful things are going well at work and I wish this job was going to last instead of being temporary. Grateful that God knows what I need better than I do and is looking out for me. Grateful for my wonderful friend Bobbi who always sends me a line when I need to hear from her.
Grateful to know that my dark moods will pass and I will hang on ODAAT. xxoo

Really grateful to hear that things are going well for you Aly, and I believe that God is looking after you, and another wonderful job will fall into your lap.

Grateful for all of my girls, running down the field for another touchdown.
And I am grateful for all of the rest of you here on SR who keep me living in recovery from our disease/illness/alcoholism/et al.
