My jacket has been missing a hood since...oh, probably since about 10 years ago when I borrowed it from my friend on a semi-permanent basis
. Anyway, today it was raining, and I had no hood, so on a whim I went to the clothing store knowing full well the rain gear was picked clean by now. Much to my surprise, I found a nice jacket in my size, in an agreeable color, with a hood, on the clearance rack!
My dry head is so grateful!

Grateful for a wonderful, if rather harrowing, mountain bike ride today. Glad I could ride over things I never expected to be able to. And....I did NOT get hurt!
