Morning Gratitude ~ Part 48
Grateful to be thinking of my lovely mum who died 29 years ago today. I was so, so lucky to be born to her
Grateful for a lazy Boxing Day, now curled up warm and dry on the sofa watching footie while the rain pours down outside
Grateful for my second sober Christmas xxx

Grateful for my wonderful family, who I finally get to see this weekend. Grateful for the opportunity to chair a meeting last night, as my service work has definitely been lacking. Grateful for a quiet morning with some time to myself. Grateful for the third step prayer. Grateful for reddit's "stopdrinking" community, and the opportunity to respond to people posting there who are struggling. Grateful for AA and the opportunity to take ACTION for my addiction, rather then just hoping and waiting for it to get better. Grateful I now know exactly what I need to do to get my license back.
Let It Snow
Grateful for an event-free drive Home last night after Dinner in wicked blowing Snow conditions after sliding riding right through 2 Intersections.
Grateful that Drinking by the other 3 at a Home Dinner was very modest.
Grateful that Da Wife is suiting up w/o discussion to tackle 8" of Snow Shoveling. Later, I take over the Second Shift of Shoveling back here in Da 'Burbs. Grateful that she cancelled a 9 A.M. Mani/Pedi Appt. some miles from here on dicey, slick Roads.
