Grateful to have a little extra time this morning before work.

Grateful to have remembered travel insurance for my holiday.

Grateful that, although I feel tired this morning, it's because I'm doing more during the days, not as a result of drinking wine the night before.

Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved

Grateful for my friend Ed who was buried yesterday with many family and friends in attendance. He went to meetings with Bill Wilson, and was a member of my AA home group. He was 92 in April, and celebrated 57 years of recovery in August. The cause of death was pneumonia.

Grateful for the 28 years of recovery that we shared along with many others who remember his great sense of humor at all of our social functions.

Grateful for AA meetings where memories of those who have passed are spoken of with thoughtful comments.

Grateful that when I start going down the wrong path, the HP always arrests me, usually very gently, and returns me to the right one.

Grateful to have slept straight through the night and to have off work today.
Grateful for a misty, soft, peach sunrise.

Grateful I get to pick my grandson up from daycare tonight (and feed and bathe him and put him to bed) while my daughter is doing her evening clinical rotation. Grateful to help her. Grateful to see him. He will be excited that I get to pick him up at daycare.

Grateful my sister has been asking for my support as she stops her weekend drinking. She has gone 11 straight days now without drinking and hasn't done that in years she says. She said she is using some alcohol free twitter feeds to help her which I think is pretty cool.

Grateful for a yummy breakfast and some hot tea.
Grateful for morning meditation.

Grateful that even when my freaking colleagues can't set up a meeting properly for instance by revealing the actual location AND I oversleep, I can still make it to Brooklyn on time because I'm sober.
Grateful to have done a small thing for someone that worked out well.

Grateful that I was able to Thank God in the Morning Gratitude section and not get black balled.

Can you tell I was in the right church, wrong pew this morning?

Grateful for laughter.

Grateful for the life of my aunt, my late Dad's little sister, who died yesterday aged 85. She was one of the kindest women I have ever known.

Grateful to still have my Mum who is almost 88.

Grateful for fond memories of loved ones that are no longer with us. Especially when they live long lives. Sorry for your loss Grtgrandpa and Marcher. I miss my Grandma, too. She was going on 93 when she passed away nearly five years ago.

((((Marcher and Marjoram)))) I lost my dad eight years ago next week. He was 90. I think about him and miss him every day, but I know he is happy now with my mum and my sister - and busy pulling strings up there for my other sister and me

Grateful for a cup of hot coffee in the morning.

- I am grateful for waking up this morning (or last night... either or... been awake since midnight lol) without a hangover and in a GOOD MOOD!!! HOLY HELL. That never happens.

- I am grateful I was up to see my partner off to work

- I am grateful for fixing up my fall jacket (it was covered in wax and now looks brand new)

- I am grateful simply to be looking forward to the day

- and of course... im grateful for finding this board
